Affordable stay in the Douglassville area There are not many options for out-of-town guests in the Douglassville area, but the Douglassville Econolodge never fails to meet my needs. The room furniture may be a little dated, but the rooms are always clean and welcoming. Although the property does sit right on the highway, you would never know it from the quietness you experience in your room. I honestly have never had a better nights sleep.

THE MOST DISGUSTING HOTEL EVER SEEN Made my reservation on Friday October 10th, 2023. I was excited to get out of Pottstown for the night. Until the nightmare began when I walked into our room 221, we thought it was cozy UNTIL I turned bathroom light on. Said to my hubby what bug is that he looked closely and said a roach. As soon as I opened the door a little the sink area was infested with roaches the door frame pregnant roaches crawling down the wall. Behind the main door in the edge's roaches. In the edges of the ceiling and wall roaches. My hubby than opened the microwave door and roaches started crawling out everywhere. I than went to the front desk as i was standing in the waiting area to be waited on. The sign in the window had a dead roach in between paper and glass. I told the guy behind he said it wasn't a roach. He pulled the paper down and held the roach in the palm of his hand and said it wasn't a roach. I argued back and said yes, it is. He wanted to move me to another room I said no I want my refund back because I was allergic to the roaches. He didn't want to give me the money back. I said no I need my refund because I am allergic to the roaches. He then gave me the money back. Our DINNER WAS DONE FOR US THAT NIGHT. WE COULDNT EAT AFTER THAT. WE WENT TO BED WITH NO APPITATE. That haunted me the rest of night into the following day. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GET A ROOM FROM ECONO LODGE/ DOUGLASSVILLE PA. UNLESS YOU LIKE THAT...THAT IS YOUR PLACE TO SLEEP. I DONT DO ROACHES....ROOM 221 IS ROACHES CITY...OOOOOO I FORGOT HE TRIED TO TELL ME THAT THEY JUST TREATED THE HOTEL 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO...THEY NEED TO CHANGE THEIR NAME TO ROACHCITY INSTEAD OF ECONO LODGE

Good place to stay Place is very clean, quiet, rooms seem recently renovated. I have stayed in a lot of places around this area, there are hotels that charge $50 dollars more per night for the exact same thing. No big breakfast or anything, but other hotels in area charge a lot more and offer only a bit more.

Worst hotel experience ever This hotel was listed as a Covid aware, clean facility. I think this may be the most disgusting hotel. My family has ever been in - urine stained beds, holes in the wall and showers broken security locks, non-smoking room, that reeked of smoke and the most outdated, dirty dust bunny filled a unit I may have ever seen.

The night clerk is definitely ignorant! The night clerk is definitely ignorant! We were 3 hours from home when our motorcycle broke down and 30 miles from this hotel but when I called I explained the situation and was told yes just come we have rooms. Mind you it was 3am. However when we arrived we were told sold out no rooms. The clerk was rude and looked like he may have been on heroin. I proceeded to ask why he would tell us to come there if there were no rooms again he repeated no rooms no rooms as he was nodding off. I told him he was an a hole and left.
