NO SLEEP! I mistakenly booked a smoking room. The hotel was totally booked so a non smoking room was not available. I always take Lysol with me so we sprayed and sprayed-helped some. This wasn't the worst problem. A little league ball team w parents had a huge BBQ smoker with them and decided to grill at 11:00 at night on the parking lot right outside our room. They carried on until 3 AM. Management did nothing. Now for the good-my husband left his medicine pill box in the room when we checked out and we didn't discover it until that evening. We called the hotel and housekeeping had turned it in. We picked it up later.

Not A Good Experience At This Hotel We recently stayed at this Jameson Inn in Dublin, Ga. When we originally made the reservation this hotel was a Hampton Inn. It had changed hands and been renamed a Jameson Inn about four weeks before we stayed there. We were told that we were supposed to be notified by e-mail of the change by the new owners. That never happened. In fairness Hampton Inn could also be faulted for the lack of notification. The front desk clerk required that we prepay our stay when we checked in. That is highly unusual and very unethical in my view. The air conditioning in the room did not work properly and no one could seem to repair it. There were two couples in our party and on the second night the lock to their room broke and our friends could not get in their room. It took over an hour and a half to get it repaired and gain entrance to their room. The management could not be reached even by noon the next day and no accommodation was offered to our friends for this extreme inconvenience. Bottom line; this is a horrible way to run a business and the new owners and management of this hotel either do not know what they are doing, do not care or both. If you need to stay in this area it appears there are many good choices. This is not one of them. I would highly recommend that you choose other lodgings and not stay at this Jameson Inn.

Dissapointment Apparently newly changed hands in ownership. Computer problems and therefore reservation delays, then poor water pressure for shower followed by loss of jot water, and hair dryer non functional. Cold wet hair. Room otherwise ok. People were super nice, and believe all will be fixed, but did mot enjoy my short stay.

Where is Hilton taking the Hampton Inn brand? If you want an econolodge at Hampton Inn prices then this is your place. Outside entrances to the rooms (it does say this on the web site - no big deal, but it does tell you what you're really getting), sub-par breakfast for this brand, missing amenities. Unless the rate drops to a more reasonable level for what this really is I'll stay at the real econolodge over the road.
