Double booked my room, I lost This could have and should have been a 4 to 5 star stay. I checked in online and received my digital key for the room I selected on the first floor. I headed to Durham a 2 hour drive arriving at 330 pm to find someone else had been given my room. The gentleman admitted he was supposed to be on the 2nd floor. My Digital key worked on his door, his did not. Is this the way a Diamond member with great standing is treated at this facility. On top of the initial problem one elevator was down creating a bottleneck for travelers to the upper floors. If allowed I would award zero stars!!!!! I can stay anywhere, and will rethink my next stay in Durham. NC

Thank you Denzel I had a problem with checking in on an Expedia booking. Denzel helped me by going above and beyond by staying on the phone and talking to multiple people with third-party booking to help me get checked in and into my room as expedited as possible. Thank you!

Wonderful Staff (Tobias) My family just had a wonderful two-day stay at this hotel. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Tobias Chadwick, front desk staff, was extremely friendly and helpful. He checked us in and it went very smoothly. After checking out (and already halfway back to Maryland), we realized we left a couple items in our room. Tobias found our items and they are already being shipped back to our house. I highly recommend this hotel.

Disappointing Greeted very nicely upon arrival. Our room was on the back side of the hotel--extremely noisy from traffic all night long. Luckily, my husband had brought his sound machine or we would not have slept at all. The sheets were clearly old--pilling, making it scratchy. Bedspread was frayed in areas. This hotel definitely needs to pay attention to details, especially when charging $165/night for a Monday night. If staying in the area again, we will look elsewhere.
