Decent place and good location. Nice place, not high end, but had the amenities that were needed. Because of location, some rooms face the highway and can be a little noisy. The extra lock on my door, the screws were missing and did not secure very well. The shower was very nice and extra large.

Terrible Arriving I found two of the slowest desk clerks I’ve ever seen. There are offputting signs taped on the doors and no public restroom which led to an agonizing experience for my party waiting to check in. It didn’t get better in the morning. The road noise was excessive, and housekeeping kept knocking on the door every half hour starting at 8:30. Check out is 11. I would give this hotel zero stars if that was an option.

Good average stay for the price. This is a decent average hotel. The property is clean and modern. Overall a good value for the price within minutes of RDU. My only comment which is not a complaint is the free breakfast. Frankly it’s terrible. No hot items and very limited. I would stay here again.

Bed Bugs - Dirty Hotel Unprofessional Staff There are other locations nearby with much better ratings, book a room here and you'll know why it's $5 less that nearby properties. Who wants bed bugs??? Noel Dekort the Manager is about the rudest person you'll meet in the hospitality industry.

So Many Issues. Dirty Room, Rude Staff, And More. To give this hotel the benefit of the doubt, I'll consider that some of this might be bad luck. But other things like dirty rooms and rude staff are not. When we checked in we noticed that the staff member helping us wasn't the friendliest, but we didn't think much about it at first. We got our key and went up to our room when we saw that our key wasn't working and the lock was constantly flashing red. After trying for a another minute or two, we went back downstairs to let them know. The staff member would smirk and half roll his eyes, saying "how could it not work" and "it says it's working down here". We are frequent travelers and he acted like we were making it up or didn't know how to use a key card. He did something on his end, which worked. We go into our room and at first it looks acceptable if you're just looking for a quick stay. But then we noticed all the lamps were moldy (I now see that a recent reviewer posted pictures of this, too). It was really gross, but we can try to deal with for one night. About an hour later, the fire alarm goes off for the entire building. We exit the building and there is no one at the front desk to even ask about the situation. We and other guests are waiting outside, not sure what's happening. It at least doesn't looking like anything is on fire so someone goes inside to check and now the front desk staff member is there. All he says is "you guys are good", motioning for us to come back in, but never explains why the alarm went off. We get back to our room and now most of the power is out. This is around 5pm or so. None of the lights work and the only two things that work were the hairdryer and the phone. Staff is aware and they said they're working on getting it fixed. We leave for a few hours to get food and when we come back around 9pm, the power is STILL out. They clearly do not have a good backup generator or even a plan for an outage. By now there's no more sunlight and we wouldn't hang out in the dark all night, so we get our stuff and leave. Fortunately there is a Hilton down the street and it was a much more comfortable stay, with friendly people.
