Never coming back This hotel is only beautiful on the outside. The room only had 2 bath towels to serve a 4 people family, we asked for more towels from the front desk, waited for an hour but no response. We called down to the front desk, but was told they are “out of the towels”. How is that possible? And the room is dark without floor lamps, even the bathroom is brighter than the room. What’s even worse, there is a weird looking drink hiding on the bottom drawer. Did they even clean the room? This is not the only hotel I have stayed in my life, but it is the in the bottom tier in my list. Would not return.

Bad experience Horrible and terrible experience. - not sound proof: a couple next to my room were making noise the whole night. Was a disturbance for my kids. - Ac makes a huge noise. Hard to rest - no air circulation in the bathroom. It smells strong - reception can be rude Never stay nor recommended this hotel to anyone

Stuck and crawled out the elevator with 4 year old - no joke It’s very hard to wrote this review after the experience we had. My family (myself, wife, 4 yr old daughter) stayed here from Thursday to Sunday in late June 2024 to visit family and friends in the area. We also had a friend stay 1 night in a separate room with their young daughter. First , upon checkin we checked into 2 rooms that were already occupied by guests. This wasted about 1.5 hours of our time and with 2, 4 year olds this is not fun. Its ok mistakes happen we let this go. We finally made it to an empty room and it was covered in ants but we kept it since it was 1 night Stay away from room 1105. Its ok mistakes happen we let this go. However, At around 9 pm Saturday we got stuck in the elevator going up to our room on the 14th floor. We frantically pressed the emergency alarm Button which just kept ringing. Shortly after receiving no response multiple times we were lucky enough to have cellular reception to call 911 & call the hotel front desk. 911 picked up and assured us they were on the way. The hotel staff told us they would send maintenance to help. They did both stay on the phone with us but told us they are on the way. It was not very reassuring and there was no AC/ ventilation in the elevator. Both of our young daughters(age4) were getting nervous and scared as were us adults as it was around 20 minutes of unknown. When maintenance did arrive we were stuck between the 14th and 15th floor and had to crawl out. This was hard to explain and scary for our young children and not possible if this were an elderly or disabled guest. So for all you readers, stay away from elevator 2 at this hotel. Of course I immediately complained and the manager on site offered to comp us 4 nights + parking expenses which came out to 130,000 points and ~100$. Of course this is an not acceptable and lowball offer because of the stress and trauma enduring by being stuck in the elevator and calling out for help with no reply. I emailed and called the “area general manager” to discuss. He was sympathetic but offered only an additional 100k points which is not sufficient. I will continue to escalate this incident to corporate but have not gotten a response. My main goal is to ensure this elevator is fixed to prevent future occurrences. Good luck to anyone staying here. Location is great but its very dated and understaffed. Service from those on site was great I could tell they work with what they have due to poor leadership and management. I still have not gotten the refund for the trip but I did get the 100k points.

Not the Hilton Experience This is not up to Hilton standards. I should have looked at the reviews but I didn’t because I thought it was a Hilton. We arrived at midnight and it took 20 minutes to check in, the carpets were horribly stained, when you took a shower you took a bath too because the water didn’t drain, there were holes in the sheets, and the room was very dusty. Super disappointed in this Hilton, probably the worst I have ever encountered.

Absolutely Bizarre, Start to Finish My husband and I booked 3 nights here while in town for my father’s funeral. We weren’t sure how much we’d use the room, but wanted the option of a separate space to grieve, sleep, exercise, and gather with family (some of whom also stayed here of nearby.) The good: We had a great server in the restaurant. (I wish I’d noted his name.) Twice, we had a big family party with people arriving and leaving at various times. He and the other staff were gracious, funny, and kind. The rest: Night 1: Check-in was smooth, though the woman at the front desk was in casual clothes and wrapped in a blanket, which was a little odd. My husband arrived in the evening while the family was gathered in the restaurant, and dropped his bags in the room. After dinner, he went back up to get them so we could head to my parents’ house, and he noticed a towel on the floor that hadn’t been there before. Weird, but nothing else seemed out of place, so he didn’t think much of it. Night 2: My best friend stayed in the room and noticed a full tube of Crest next to the bathroom sink. She assumed it was my husband’s. It wasn’t. Night 3: My husband and I were excited to spend a night by ourselves in a cold hotel room (NJ was in the middle of a humid heat wave.) When we got to the room, the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door, which was odd… my best friend specifically said she’d asked the front desk to have the room cleaned. We tried the door, but our key didn’t work. My husband went down to the desk (no small undertaking, as the elevators are slow and have minds of their own) and returned with new keys. We opened the door, and… it was occupied. Towels strewn all over the place, someone else’s luggage open and spread all over the bed. (Thank god we didn’t walk in on anyone!) We went back to the desk to tell them the situation, and they said their system had been down all day, lots of people were having this problem, they couldn’t tell which rooms were occupied, which had been cleaned, etc. We were asked to wait while they sorted things out. (It’s also noteworthy that there were police in the lobby, emergency lights flashing, seemingly having something to do with the elevators, and the other people in line at the front desk–at least one of whom had also discovered his room occupied by someone else–said something was dripping on them from above. That was too much for us to process, so we just waited while the lobby music played that “You Had a Bad Day” song. Couldn’t make it up if I tried.) After about 20 minutes, we were given keys to a new room and breakfast vouchers as an apology (which seems wildly inadequate, but whatever.) When we got to the new room, it was hot and swampy, there were no washcloths or hand towels, only three bath towels, a few tissues left in the box and no spare, and a can of Red Bull in the trash. But we were loathe to go back downstairs, so we decided to make it work. We eventually got the AC working a bit, though the room never got more than slightly cool. There were four small, flabby pillows on the bed and the mattress was worn out, sagged in the middle, and sloped such that our feet were higher than our heads. Not the cool, comfortable respite we were counting on. The breakfast buffet was fine (though it’s tucked in a back room that makes you think you’re walking toward the service elevators.) When I headed back to the room, one elevator arrived with both up and down arrows lit at once, so I waited for the next, which contained a teenager who tried and failed to get out as the doors opened half way and then quickly closed again. I finally got back upstairs and took a shower. I could not get the water to be anything but scalding hot. (Never experienced a hotel running out of *cold* water.) The room was back to being hotter than the weather outside, so we packed up and fled. As a bonus, I’ve posted the art that hangs in the back of the restaurant. The stellar server I mentioned heard us laughing about it and assured us the flames are actually clouds and he’s told the management several times that they should take it down… but I hope they don’t. Next time, we’ll stick to the Hampton Inn in Old Bridge.
