When in Peoria, Stay at some other Hotel. My wife and I are 10 year Hilton Diamond members. We have been staying at Hilton brand properties for about 30 years. We stayed here for three nights. This is a "Once was", "Has been", "No longer is" property. We have stayed here about six times over the past six years. Each time this property is more run down, that our previous stay. The bath towels are not soft nor absorbent; but they are scratchy. This Hotel is OLD. The carpet is stained and dirty. The furniture in the room is stained. The fitted bedsheet did not fit the mattress. Our mattress was not firm. There are NOT near enough electrical outlets around the table/desk, nor in the bedroom! The heat did not work properly in the bedroom. The elevators are very slow. The Manager's evening special is a JOKE. We went once and never went back. The had pretzels, goldfish crackers, salsa and chips. The omelet station was a joke! Very long line. It was not organized. Employees yelling; "Hot cakes here" "go the the head of the line for bacon and sausage. Hampton Inns have more selection than the breakfast bar than the HS had, with NO hot meat at the breakfast bar. Only one toaster. Of the three days, two days the had no "Glass" glasses and put out paper cups. One day the milk cooler had no milk. one day there was no cereal bowls. They were VERY slow to replenish the breakfast bar items. The balconies had no greenery. It is an insult that they charge $12.72 per day to park your car! We paid an average of $220.80 (including tax) per night. I would rate this property as being at least $60 per night over priced, per night, for the servicers received. The next time we go to Peoria we will not stay at this Embassy suites.

Hotel is old and dated. Parking lot is not safe…drug deals going on. Let friendly hotel but dog poop in hallway Outdated hotel. Dirty carpet. Toilet was disgusting. Pet friendly which I love except there was four piles of dog poop on carpet outside elevator for a long time. I called to let them know and they acted annoyed and told me they already knew about it.

Just OK Rooms are outdated. Carpet dirty I had a river view but the windows were extremely dirty with spider snd spider webs covering them. Disgusting Front desk staff is rude. I asked for an early checkout (1 day early ) and they refused too work with me. I was charged for parking eve though I did not have a car. The only bright side was the omelette bar. It was very good and the service was impeccable.. Free drinks are a joke.. They serve you paint thinner caliber liquors to color the water…

Dated and in disrepair Pro: very comfortable office chair in living room, Cons: Anyone walking by any room can look in because curtains don’t close. Deadbolt on my room was about to fall off. Furniture, rugs, and curtains all dirty. Food ok, not great. Staff friendly and efficient. Nice water view. Looks like it’s been decades since decor was updated. Would not stay here again,
