Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chattanooga (East Ridge) by IHG

Mean Receptionist We were in town for a bug show close by, the location was perfect. Parking a bit tight with a trailer but doable. Check-in was easy, the receptionist was nice, we got to asking about local places to eat. Luckily “Champy’s” was less than a block away and she shared she really liked the chicken there, it did not disappoint. Being guests there for 3 days we were in and out quite a bit, everyone at the desk was friendly with one exception. After the car show one evening I needed to get some work done and didn’t recall getting info about the Wi-Fi (again busy chatting with the receptionist) so we stopped at the desk. The girl at the desk (red hair, thin) looked at me like I was trash under her shoe. I’d love to share her name but she didn’t have a name tag. After staring at me for a minute like I had just asked the worlds dumbest question my husband said “why are you looking at her like that” to which she replied “when I checked you in I told you”, I let her know she did not check us in and I didn’t appreciate her attitude or the way she was looking at me. It was a simple question. I would have MUCH rather interacted with the pretty black girl who checked us in (thin, blond hair, killer nails) or any of the other numerous receptionists we passed. This red haired girl had ZERO business being in customer service, period. Definitely not what I expect from IHG.

Great experience Deja and Ms Sonya were phenomenal! They were dedicated to making sure I had the best experience possible and did their best to meet my wants and needs! Great job! This hotel is situated in a great spot convenient to the interstate with plenty of food options nearby.

Good experience that the Holiday Inn We stayed here for one night while in the area for a basketball tournament. I had read some questionable reviews, but we had a good experience. Room was clean, breakfast was great. The breakfast staff was also very friendly. My only complaint was that the workout room was missing some weights, from 5 lbs it went to 25 lbs with nothing in between. I would stay here again.

He’s a smoker he’s a toker Place is horrible needs a whole new overhaul. Stunk, toilet ran all night dirty pool . Employee’s smoking weed outside of the building. Urine smell in hallway. Janitor man with anger issues screaming in phone while in hallway

Very clean and nice. This is a very clean and pleasant hotel. Good location and nice breakfast with hot food options. Then staff were friendly and helpful. Good Italian/Greek restaurant within walking distance. Close to interstate. Safe, free parking. I would recommend this for a stay.
