not going back! There was no hand soap and I had reserved and paid for the king suite with sofa bed but when checking in, they gave us something else and a smaller room than what we were paying for. When I ask the service rep, they said when you book, you are booking for a room but not choosing which room, even though the different rooms had different prices and they did not accommodate in any way. This hotel seems like a cheap hotel with a pretty face

Park Hotel two night stay - big changes needed Room service did not answer the phone once. Front desk did not answer the phone once. When I had no other option other than to walk down to the front desk after 5 attempts at calling, there was no line and one gentleman sitting there. I told him I was calling repeatedly and instead of being stellar at customer service and apologizing, he looked at me and said he was there the whole time, and answering other calls just fine, suggesting I didn’t call at all and throwing his arms in the air, implicating an error on my part instead of taking the correct approach in response to a frustrated and paying guest. That was the worst experience in a long time. Furthermore, while the room was not equipped with an ice bucket, I was told to ask the bar. They gave me a plastic take out container with ice in it. What on earth is that? Thirdly, if you want to keep up with the times, you should update your tvs especially in the renovated rooms to be smart tvs. No one watches cable anymore and the absence of choices is a deterrent as well. The water pressure was horrible in the shower and when I heard another guest tell the front desk that they had no hot water, again, instead of saying “I am so sorry about that, let me see what I can do to make this right” the front desk attendant questioned the guest and said she should’ve called down for maintenance to come to repair it. But the front desk didn’t answer the phone. Overall, the staff needs to go back to hotel restaurant management school and refresh those degrees I ‘d expect they received. Park needs to invest more into training and plumping up their staff because the service is lacking big time. Aside from the very comfortable bed, there were no other positive experiences this past weekend and I hope you take these comments seriously and implement some big changes. Your guests deserve better.

Black mold in air vents and bathroom Black mold in the air vents and bathroom sink. This is the fourth time we’ve stayed here (previously when it was the Hilton) and I have never been so disgusted. I don’t typically complain about cleaning unless it is really bad, because I am aware of how little time the housekeeping team has to get a ton of rooms done, but this was unhealthy for my kids and that is a huge concern for me

Not recommended for young or female travelers My daughter attempted to leave her luggage with hotel staff or the valet so she could go to an event at the Meadowlands Exposition Center…they refused to accept her bag or help her. We asked to speak to a manager, and he was “unavailable”. We ended up canceling the reservation and booking somewhere else more expensive and last minute so she could go to her event. I thought I was booking a room at a hotel where my daughter would be safe and would be treated decently.Spend a little more money and go somewhere else.

A place to stay - poor amenities. Many other hotels in area - choose 1 . Skip this one. Rooms leave a lot to be desired , bring socks because floors in Room are dirty. Front desk staff is very good and helpful. I will admit, the Starbucks on property was a plus, because the hotel has no other place to eat or drink till after 4:00 pm - and it’s a bar.
