Post Covid Experience Great modification to the pandemic that paralyzed the world from traveling. Thank you for a great accommodating staff, they all made us (my family) feel safe and welcomed. I would highly recommend this Residence Inn if you happen to be visiting Syracuse. It was a very comfortable first post Covid family travel for us. God bless us all.

Good enough for the area It's a decent hotel for the area and the are a ton of low-middle scale properties within a 1/2 mile radius to this one. The staff here is friendly and while I didn't interact with housekeeping, front desk was good. There was no mention of my Marriott status or upgrade given even though the hotel was empty but that's Bonvoy. I don't have loyalty to Marriott anymore because of this... but that's a different issue. The rooms are clean and look renovated. The bathroom though is old and musty. Lot of space in the room and the kitchen area should be great for families traveling in the area. Speaking of area, there is NOTHING nearby. A car is a must. You can walk to Ruby Tuesday (yes very random) and thats really it. The hotel design is also atypical with several small buildings making up the property. This is good if you like privacy but each building is open to anyone walking in. I'm NOT claiming the area is dangerous or anything of that sort. I was just surprised at how old the buildings are and this style of property. Overall, it's nice enough for a budget property and the people are friendly. No real complaints from me.

Nice option with lots of room With a family of 5, having a suite like the ones offered at the Residence Inn is a big deal. It's so nice to have some separate space when bed times and wake up times don't align with the whole family! The rooms have a kitchen, a common room, and two bedrooms (with two bathrooms). Everything was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. Beyond the room, everything else was typical American chain hotel, for better or worse! Definitely a good option when visiting Syracuse!

Love the Residence Line So I prefer Marriott properties, and must admit, the consistency in my choices is partially based on the Bonvoy points. I always like to stay at the “Residence” layout because of the size of the room, and the conveniences. The full kitchen is definitely a plus. When I do week-long trips for business, it’s nice to have the studio apartment set up. Not sure why I had inconsistency in my room cleaning. I’m glad they decided to supply dish soap in the room, rather than just depending on the dishwasher. Today, they serviced the room, and took the dish rag, and dish towel, but did not supply clean ones ?? It takes a lot for me to dish out five stars, so this was the one thing I could hope to improve for the next guest. Really, you can’t go wrong at Residence Carrier Circle.

Comfortable and Relaxing stay While in town for the weekend, we stayed at the Residence Inn near Carrier circle. We are partial to Marriott properties and have stayed at many Residence Inns around the country. This one was similar to most of the others but clearly more modern. Check-in was quick and easy, and our room was on the first floor and had plenty of space for us. It was very contemporary so obviously it had been upgraded recently. We didn't get to use all the amenities, but the hotel had ample parking, outdoor recreation options, workout room, business center, full breakfast and probably others. The room was larger than normal with a full kitchen, full-size refrigerator, free wireless and all the modern electronic hook-ups (ie, USB ports). The only negative was that there was someone above us who you could hear moving around, but other than that we'd definitely stay there again.
