Thi place should be bulldozed/ Reserved rooms with some friends during a weekend vent based on the photos online. With the name Wyndham attached, you would think it was a fairly nice place. The photos on booking site look like the motel is clean and beautiful.... but they must have been taken around thirty years ago. In fact the use of such nice looking photos to advertise this place should be considered as fraud because the condition of this Day Inn looks nothing at all like the photos. When we pulled in, we saw that parts of the building was decaying, even falling apart. There were disheveled people loitering around the front like they had nothing better to do. We stood in the parking lot and debated whether or not to forgo the $110 each paid for the night (later found advertising for $65 a night) but there isn't a lot of lodging close by and it was only one night. How bad can it be? BAD!!! The lobby looked like it was directly out of the 1960s and hadn't been clean since. We tried to get three rooms adjacent but was told they had none close together. This seemed odd as our three cars were the only cars in the lot. We went ahead and checked in and went to our rooms. The furnishings in our room looked old and ready for the dump. My fiancé pulled back the covers to check for bedbugs and the sheets were horribly stained like someone peed all over the bed. In addition, there were red drops of what looked like blood dripping on the bottom valence of the bed. We immediately went to the office to ask for another room and another of our group was already there doing the same because the heavy stench of cigarette smoke in her non-smoking room made it difficult to breath. We both got new rooms that were a little better but not by much. The third member of our group had room not quite as bas as ours and figured it was only one night and didn't bother asking for a new room. The advertising photos show a bright white picket fence around a beautiful swimming pool. In reality, the pool had a tarp over it and was surrounded by a 7 foot tall black iron fence that looked like it belonged in a prison. Near the pools I saw a dirty 3 or 4 year old boy by himself sitting in the dirt and looking like he was the most depressed person on earth. No other children or adults were in sight. Walking past other rooms on the way to our new room, it could be seen through the half open curtains over the dirt covered windows that many of the rooms appeared half disassembled. There is dirt and grime everywhere. We found the reason for all the people loitering around with nothing to do is the hotel is permanent or semi-permanent lodging for transients. One female member of our group was approached by a suspicious disheveled looking man hanging around the outside vice machine that is located in a blind spot. He told her she should not go to the ice machine by herself as there were suspicious people around, and he would escort her there any time she needed ice. She feared that he was the suspicious one trying to get her alone in the blind spot and walked away quickly afraid of being attacked or worse. None of the females in our group felt safe walking anywhere alone and always did so in a group. These are just a few comments about this place I know this review sounds unbelievable but it is as bad if not worse than my words describe. It is definitely much worse than I have ever stayed at, and that includes a motel where the room was only $35 a night.

Someone Needs to call the Health Department and Human Services. I already emailed the corporate office regarding this stay. All I’m going to say is DO NOT BOOK. The room came equipped with mold and broken and dirty features .

Stay away full of transients and run down Stay away. It is setup as a homeless shelter for transients not for paying travelers. The staff does not have control of the transient occupants and they run rampant over the entire property. If I could get my money back I would still not recommend staying here. The situation does not present itself to be safe to leave your room at night.

I wouldn’t let my dog stay here. There was half-eaten food left in the drawers. Very unsavory people loitering outside and around the entire property. Pool was covered and the entire area was disgusting. This place gives the Days Inn franchise a bad name.
