Not very impressed Stayed here for a conference. The room was fine but overall, the property seemed a little rundown and good have used a good cleaning. The clerks at the desk at both check-in and check-out seemed uninterested in their jobs. The food at the conference was very good and the breakfast served was adequate. I would not recommend this property.

Pretty good value This is an older hotel that they've updated. The outside looks like its birth year of 1963. The room was clean and the bed was pretty comfy. There was a large pool area that I didn't use but it would be good for a family with kids. I had two issues with the room. There was a small fridge in the room. It was really loud and clunked on and off all night. The other issue was the drapes didn't cover the window properly so it let in a lot of light around the top and sides. The other weird thing was there were full size beds in the room but queen size headboards mounted to the wall. Not a big deal but it looked stupid. They offered complimentary breakfast which was kind of lame. They ran out of everything except powdered eggs and cold cereal (an hour before the buffet was supposed to be over). I ended up having to go to another restaurant to eat. If you don't need a fridge or breakfast I'm sure you'll find it to your liking.

Great Price for a Jacuzzi Suite My husband and I were looking online for a hotel with a Jacuzzi suite to celebrate our anniversary at on our way home from moving everything out of our cabin in Chetek. I found Plaza Suites and was surprised at how inexpensive a king suite was. We booked our room on booking.com for $118 plus tax (about $135 total). It was very worth it. The room was nice and clean, the tub was great, and we got to get caught up on HGTV which we haven't been able to enjoy since we ditched the high cable prices (romantic huh?) We had a very wonderful short visit. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Awesome Decor We stayed for just one night but had a great experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were able to help us get around town, find restaurants, and clubs to go to. The room was spotless. We will be staying here again.

Stop over Came through town late at night and need a place to crash and the Plaza was the only place in town with rooms. Not bad for the 6 hours we spent but will say not the cheapest. Does have a bar that is open until 3 am which is good.
