NEVER NOTIFIED HOTEL WAS CLOSED HAD RESERVATIONS UPON ARRIVAL Upon arriving from 9 hour drive from Pa., saw carpeting outside on ground with dumpsters in parking lot, sign on door said Hotel closed, upon entering lobby Mgr. came out to tell me there was a fire 3 weeks ago so hotel was closed that I should have been notified. Told her no one called or email me, the only email I received was a reminder of my stay 5 days earlier in the week of my up coming reservation. This was Notre Dame football weekend and all other hotels were booked or you were paying Double the price else where. Mgr. at the Quality Inn there tryed in the area to find me something, nothing. proceeded to call Choice Customer Service , were very rude would not help or try to fix the problem . Said I WOULD HAVE TO PAY THE GOING PRICE ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!!!! Which was double the price I was guarenteed. Had to drive around to find another hotel, finally found one down the road at the Garden Inn Elkhart Ind, told them what happened and they charged me the price that I was going to pay at the Quality Inn in Elkhart Ind. They were very nice, and I would stay there again, very clean, and helpful.!!!!

You definitely get what you pay for..... Stayed One night the first room they put me in was very dirty and had marks on the walls so we moved rooms to another dirty room that the curtains didn't close and were hanging off the hooks. Will not stay here again also breakfast was late and did not start until almost 9 o'clock.

Good breakfast, that's about it Apparently this hotel has been undergoing renovations for a couple of years, and probably has a few more years to go at this rate. Old air conditioners were sitting in the hall for several days until they were finally removed. Our one room looked like it was only partially serviced when we got in (it wasn't vacuumed and the toilet wasn't cleaned until the next day). Our group's other room was completely trashed when they got it and they were given another room. Housekeeping didn't clean it because the do not disturb sign was up and they were under the impression that the previous occupants had extended. The pool was closed for renovation. The laundry room was non existent and we had to go to the neighboring Hilton Garden Inn to use its one washer. The shower handle and faucet were not properly mounted and both moved whenever you turned the water on. The tub drained slowly; we reported this to the front desk, but maintenance never came. I unclogged it myself. Over our 10 night stay, our room wasn't serviced on two or three of those days. Despite reporting this to the front desk, it wasn't rectified. At one point, the desk clerk said she would make an adjustment to our bill, but that never happened. At least the breakfast was good, although there were a few mornings when they were slow getting the food out and couldn't figure out how to get the juice machine to work.

Great Staff, Terrible Hotel Conditions Excellent front desk (Jenny) and Maintenance (Ray). Rhonda Rowe, hotel manager doesn't care if the customer are happy or shows no concern. Several family members rooms, had exposed wires, no air conditioning, NASTY tubs. I would not recommend staying here until renovation and management changes

You get what your pay for. Service was fine, but the room had certainly seen better days. Signs of wear and tear throughout the building. There is no elevator to the second floor rooms. The breakfast area was very small, only 3 tables to sit at. The food was ok. The parking area and front of the building is not very lighted. It was easy access off the interstate and close to good restaurants. Probably won't stay there again.
