Roaches EVERYWHERE! Do not stay at this ROACH MOTEL. I got in my room and went to turn down the ac. When I touched the button, a whole herd of roaches crawled out of it. On the walls and floors. I have never picked my bags up so fast and ran out a room like that in my life. I can’t even sleep now cause of it cause all I feel is bugs crawling on me that aren’t there. On top of it, the manager on duty couldn’t figure out how to do a refund. So not only have I not received my full refund, I had to spend triple in hotel cost so I could get a place my son could sleep in

The Free Breakfast is a LIE This is a basic roadside motel. We had low expectations and only needed a clean, pet friendly place to sleep. The room was completely adequate. Clean sheets on the bed. Comfortable for the price. No bugs, gross stains or weird smells. The location is outside town and nothing in the immediate vicinity. No restaurants etc. Quiet area. The room was basic and dated. Adequately clean. The tub was dirty but fine for showering. We booked because of the petfriendly status and advertised free breakfast. Once we arrived we were told No breakfast available. That was a disappointment. Apart from lying about breakfast this hotel was adequate.

Nice and accommodating When we checked in the manger was soooo nice it was late and we are from outta state he told us where we could find dinner and stores ! The beautiful trees on the property we great to take pic of to add to out memories! Not far from va beach about 1 and half hours!

Average roadside motel but definitely not in a bad way We stayed here in July 2019 while on a road trip. When we pulled in to the parking lot the exterior had us starting to question our booking as it was looking a little drab. However, after being checked in by the extremely friendly manager, and entering our room we were reminded that you can't judge a place based on outside appearance. We had an impeccably clean room with a comfortable bed. The room had a king bed, new carpet, a microwave, mini fridge, a desk and WIFI. The bathroom was extremely clean as well. For $52 per night, this place has to be the best you can get for a roadside motel room. We would definitely stay here again.

Knights Inn You get what you pay for comes to mind . However I've stayed at better places than here for the money . Don't be fooled by free continental breakfast . They have a tiny regular coffee pot in a tiny are next to reception that has one table and four chairs . Rice Krispies or Cornflakes are on offer when he got them out of the cupboard . Milk was an unopened gallon he retrieved from somewhere . Can't say how old the cereals were . That's it . When I walked through the door to reception the smell hits you . Mothballs covering up god knows what smell . Huge pile of "clean sheets,bedding were lying on the floor behind the counter yuck . Place is so run down . Rooms were clean but old and tired . My clothing stunk of smoke the next day . I am not a smoker. Booked online at advertised rate of $43. . When you do the final check out the price had jumped up to $59.95 . Why ??? That was before taxes . Did they charge for the second adult ? My suggestion is do away with the free continental breakfast ,it's a joke and misleading . And try and spruce up the place . There are approx 100 units and an empty neglected pool . I was not going to bother trying to get a refund at 11pm at night after driving for 10hrs straight . Will just avoid Knights Inn from now on
