Not good. We checked into this "hotel" on a Wednesday afternoon around 3:30PM. Check in was fine. Parked the car in one of the few spots available and unloaded the car to head to the room. When we got to room 305, it seemed hot so my wife found the thermostat and set the temperature lower. At 4:00PM, nothing had happened and the room was still 79 degrees. Called down to the front desk to ask for maintenance and was told someone would come look at it. An hour later, I called again. Told the same thing. At 6:15pm, called a 3rd time and was told someone would be up. We left for a meeting and returned at 11:00pm. Room still at 79 degrees and no air. Called again and the front desk said no one was available to check it out but they offered to bring a fan. Had no choice but to take it. Was told someone would come and take a look on Thursday morning. No one came. We went to the front desk Thursday afternoon and watched the clerk fill in the maintenance request and watched a maintenance person pick up the form. But nothing was ever done. We checked out Sunday and no one ever came to look at the ac. We did prop our door open when we were in the room as the hall was freezing cold, using the fan to blow the cold air into the room. But that wasn't an ideal solution. We asked for a different room and were told they were sold out - no other rooms available. Taking showers and going to bed wet helped. But sleep was difficult as a result of the heat. Speaking of heat, the hot water was incredibly hot. I'd guess it was 180 degrees when on full hot on the faucet or bath. That will burn you. The sink was another story. It would not stop up for you to shave but it also drained very slowly. I just left the drain open and ran the water so I could get a basin of water to shave. There are no usb ports in the room to use for your phone like in a modern hotel. There is only one microwave oven available for the entire floor (near the ice machine) and for 3 days, the one there wasn't working. Finally got replaced after complaining. The business center had printers but there is no way to put in a flash drive to print anything out due to the way the computers are set up. Only one printer of the two was functional The conference rooms were dark even with the lights on and the ceiling tiles were dirty. The complementary coffee was out every time I went to the lobby. Our key card stopped working 2 days before we left and we had to go have them reprogrammed. What was good? They have a good airport shuttle that works 24 hours a day and is very prompt. If the convention I attend is still at this location next year, I'm finding another hotel to stay at with air conditioning and a microwave in every room.

Not the best Stayed one night while passing through the area. We always stay with the Holiday Inn brand and have always had great experiences. This one was only average. Could use some updating and better front desk staff. The young lady who checked us out in the morning was very nice, but the two young men working the evening before were not up to par. The rooms could use updated and the bed was very hard.

Good baseline hotel It's an ok hotel that does not excel at anything but similarly does not do anything poorly. With one exception, the food experience is lacking. Food here is boring and tasteless. Breakfast is overpriced for what it is. I would suggest that if you are staying to get the food outside. Would I stay here again? Yes I would.

Look Elsewhere On check-in, I was told my room was not ready when I asked the front desk to confirm my room had no feathers anywhere, as requested in my reservation. Based on my status level, I was not offered either a room upgrade or welcome amenity/points, at check-in. The front desk staffing leaves much to be desired. A staff member, named, "Karen", was flippant, inept, and not helpful. Yes, her name is really, "Karen". I reserved a room with a king bed and mini-fridge, and specifically requested no feathers due to previous anaphylactic shock. The room I reserved and for which I paid, was not assigned, and after being provided an "upgraded" room, based on status, the "suite" was MOLDY-smelling, outdated, unclean and unacceptable. After returning to the front desk, I was assigned a downgraded room, which did not have a mini-fridge. I brought food, which needed to be refrigerated, but since I received a room without a mini-fridge, I had to dispose of my food in the trashcan, fearing food poisoning. The downgraded room I stayed in had sheets which looked as though they had been balled-up and/or slept on; the bathroom smelled like a poorly maintained dog kennel, and housekeeping apparently is Ronnie Milsap, Ray Charles, and/or Helen Keller. It's evident the room had not been vacuumed and/or cleaned. There was dust covering the nightstands and lamp bases. I shudder to think what was on the room phone itself. Someone's hairs were on and in the bathroom sink! YUCK! I was too tired from travels and an impending early travel, but I now wish I'd taken pics of all their mess. After contacting an on-site manager, I accepted an offer he made, but to date, this has failed to materialize too. To add insult to injuries, I requested a 3AM wake-up call, but I never received the wake-up call! At checkout, I alerted the front desk staff member of the failure to receive a wake-up call, and he checked their system, verifying a wake-up call had been requested, then apologized for the failure. Totally disgusting ordeal from start to finish, except the shuttle. Too bad I couldn't capture the smell in a picture or video. Don't believe the window dressing! Look behind the curtain! The lobby has been renovated, but the rest of the hotel has not been renovated. Those other hotel areas, claiming to have been renovated/updated, are only superficially cloaked. The only positive experience was the parking and airport shuttle. There are much better hotels near the CVG airport. Please do yourself a favor - Look Elsewhere.
