Motel Mediteran Escondido

Wedding & Family Our Daughter was getting married nearby and we needed a lot rooms for family & friends. We had 11 rooms on Friday night & 12 on Saturday night. I made all arrangements with Priya & she was wonderful to work with. Everyone was very happy with the arrangements. We used the 3 big rooms A, 115, 116 & loved them. We had rooms 119-124, 127-129. We had certain challenges to meet for certain family members & Priya met them all. We scouted this Motel out in January & Priya showed us rooms which helped us to decide what we needed. We loved this Motel!!!!! Our Guests loved it. They hung out in the Gazebo too! It was an affordable option since we needed so many rooms!!!

Not as pictured. Now I do npot believe all the positives, too bad. Could be good. We planned 2 days away from our RV, only an hour and a bit away, but this was closer to the beach, and planned a bit of a break. So we wanted comfort. Queen bed room shows a couch and a good layout to relax. When we arrived we were told we got an "upgrade" to King. Well the King bed rooms do not have a couch. In fact what was assigned was a room with plain fake wood plastic chairs(not molded at all) just flat slabs. No cushion, no shape nothing. I would last about 20 minutes on them. There was no solution to this so after being assured we would get a refund we drove back to our RV site, very disappointed. Well then we are told the manager states we stayed 2 nights, so no refund. I fortunately had had the night guy write and sign a statement that we were entitled to a refund and he fortunately dated it the first night. My argument was if we stayed 2 days how come the staement was dated the first night. I won. Refund received. But this is all about a lack of honesty and ethics in my opinion. My advice..for a quic overnight nap, go ahead, sleep with the thin covers as mentioned in some other reviews, but if yiouo want to be cofortable find somewhere else.

Best in Escondido Great location - pretty close to the mall, and a couple big grocery stores (including: Trader Joe's, Major Market and Vons). When we first showed up there were two different cars with people sitting in their cars and eating (which felt weird). Also, for how empty the hotel seemed, their parking was PACKED. But our room was nice - perfect for what we needed! Huge, comfy bed. Pretty room. Would definitely stay here again!

A Comfortable Base For Seeing San Diego Zoo Safari Park The room was clean, roomy, updated, and comfortable. The family-owned front desk staff was friendly and helpful, some had lived in the area for several years. Although on a frontage road facing Centre City Drive (Old Highway 395) the setting was fairly quiet and provided easy access to the entire area.

Great value We came for a soccer tournament and the staff was kind and extremely accommodating. I asked to have them open the laundry room early to wash my daughters uniform and they were extremely helpful. The room was updated and the staff were so nice. Great value and clean motel with a great location. Will return if I am ever in the area.
