lovely short break We had five lovely nights at the hotel, the staff were fabulous but very few and far between resulting in some waiting for drinks not their fault at all . They need to employ more staff and that would solve it. Fran in particular needs a pat on the back as he seemed to be everywhere! Our room was spotless with a decent balcony and i agree with other reviews that the TV has only 1 English channel Sky news, not a problem for us but other people may require more, i also agree that the location is out of the way. We found a local restaurant that suited us so again wasn't a problem, we used UBER for visits to Estepona old town where we spent a day. The pool was checked every day which i liked and the pool area was clean with lots of sunbeds and towels were provided, The food at the pool bar was excellent i would definitely recommend eating there its open until around 7pm but worth noting it doesn't open until 12,30 ish ! The breakfast was plentiful but i think the hot food should have been hotter. It was our first visit to the area so I've nothing to compare it to, my husband was recovering from a recent surgery so a quiet break suited us. People looking for lots of local places to eat and drink and a more lively experience i would say that sadly this hotel isn't for them. it did look as if there was some development going on in the area, so hopefully this lovely hotel and its staff will have some more options for their guests to enjoy.

Poor location Huge disappointment. Long walk to bus and Restaurants. Each night travelled to Estapona for dinner incuring additional taxi costs. Difficult to sleep because of noise from motorway at roundabout location . Basic breakfast - no slip mat for Bath no shower caps which I would consider standard

Excellent service very profesional and friendly Received with a very warm, professional welcome and they accommodated us in every way. Spent most of the day by the pool, where Fran the barman went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, very friendly, excellent service . Really nice cocktails.

Thalasso spa The Spa was excellent, the best I’ve ever had, the Mediterranean salt water is used and so relaxing, great to get rid of the stress and tired muscles, the staff were lovely especially Ioana who was a great help and so polite. We will be back for sure.

It was a good hotel to stay in, but I wouldn’t stay again. I would recommend staying somewhere closer to the centre. The hotel isn’t in the best location, so I would recommend hiring a car. The pool area was nice and clean, there were lots of sunbeds available. We only ate from the breakfast menu, but the food was okay, and repetitive. We ate out for lunch and dinner, tried to book the hotel restaurant twice for the set menu, but they only had the buffet for dinner time. The room had a comfy, and huge king sized bed, a big bathroom, nice balcony, and was tidy. However, there were a few ants in my room, so don’t leave any food out. The hotel was mainly quiet, not a lot of people and not much going on, there wasn’t much staff, so service was slow at times. We enjoyed the cocktails and relaxing by the pool. We didn’t stay in the hotel much, but enjoyed a few nights on the balcony. We had the street view, but you could see the mountains and sea in the distance. We didn’t use the spa facilities, and parking was 8 euro a night, but there was street parking for free. We parked on the street and no problems the whole week. There were a few local things, we went to two restaurants one next to the hotel, one 10 minutes walk away, and a few supermarkets. The beach is a 15-20 minute walk. We took a taxi to Puerto Banus, which was only a 10 minute drive, cost around 15 euros.
