Back to the Tried and True We were concerned after seeing so many negative reviews in recent postings. So, we didn't make a reservation, but got there early enough in the afternoon we could make a different choice if we didn't like the looks of the room offered. Long story short - we stayed. Our room was clean. Our hall was quiet. The elevator worked fine and was also clean. The desk staff were pleasant and efficient. We had good water pressure for the shower. In other words, the things that you look for in a budget-friendly property were there. It's a mix of some upgrades and refurbishing alongside other tell tale signs of its age. We appreciate the microwave and fridge in room, a really nice plus for the rate! Maybe others who are satisfied have been like us and just not taken time to post on this old favorite. I've packed my Febreeze right along with the deodorant can in my tote for over a decade, so there may have been some stuffiness at first, but easily taken care of and no worse than rooms we've had at much higher price points!
