Pleasant, clean and more than we expected We selected this hotel for its location: walkable to the metro and lots of dining close by. It also offered a separate bedroom which works well with my husband always waking earlier than I do. We found it to be quiet (even with a room across from the elevator) and exceptionally clean. Didn’t use the kitchenette but had what we would have needed. Staff were also kind and helpful. While sofa is a bit stiff, we would easily stay here again if we come back to the area. Complimentary breakfast was also more than expected.

Nice hotel / Great Manager The evening hotel manager is the best hospitality professional we have encountered in years. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Gave us an extra blanket because it was very cold outside. Very welcoming entry lobby. Fireplaces were lit and inviting. Free dinner on Wednesday evenings. Room was clean. Suite King bed very comfortable. Sofa bed, not so much. Good breakfast. Overall, very nice overnight stay for 3.

Very Clean. Nice layout. Very clean, nice layout and friendly staff. Only two warnings: is that the evening mixer, which some of you may have enjoyed in the past, has been discontinued. There is no adult beverage sales on-site either. You'll need to enjoy dinner and a drink out before you arrive. Finally, the pool towels are about the size of a hand towel (hilarious!). Bring your own if you actually want to dry off without having to use four hand towels.

Going down Hill. I have stayed here at least 8 times over the course of 7 years. The hotel is aging and the service seems to suffering as well. Breakfast was especially poor this trip. Eggs were terrible. The waffle batter was kept In a pitcher instead of a dispenser with cups as has been the usual at pretty much every Hampton property I have stayed at. The batter sits out uncalled and the batter that remains in the spout of the pitcher was dried and probably spoiling. I skipped the waffles due to that. A person in my group had their room on the 6th floor flood. The hotel called him while we were at work to let him know. Fortunately the only property of his that got wet were a pair of socks. When we got back to the hotel they moved him to a room two floors down but directly below the first room. The new room was flooded too so clearly they had not traced the source and or extent of the flooding. When I went to shower the morning of my checkout, the cold water was shut off just before I got in. The water suddenly got very hot and stayed that way. I do not know why it happened, but if that happened to anyone while they were in the shower, that would have been very painful. Possibly a scald. The same applied to my bathroom and kitchen sink. Even the toilet tank filled with hot water after flushed. I don't know how that is even possible. Anyway, I had to wait an hour to take a shower. Otherwise I would have had to catch a flight without a shower I needed. The air conditioning vent in the bedroom points directly at the left side of the bed. No way to adjust it. If you sleep on the left side there is no way to escape a strong breeze from the vent. The hotel is convenient to many amenities. I hope they fix the issues and improve Breakfast, otherwise I won't be inclined to stay here again.
