A reasonable place to stay On the positive side, my room was very clean. Don't expect any extras such as basic breakfast of any sort--even donuts. There are no eating places nearby, so to get food, if you didn't travel here in your own car, you go to Aldi's and pick up what you want to eat from their limited selection. Aldi's is the only place in the area that you can walk to and get food. The room does have a full kitchen, so that helps.

Roaches I was planning on staying for two months. Great location but I kept finding beer bottle caps in the room which I would put up with. Things changed when I had roaches in the bathroom. I informed the front desk the first time they said “oh no”. if I see another one they could try to change my room but they were going to be pretty full. I seen a second one and found a new hotel. When I informed the front desk it was the same response of “oh no”. She did let me check out at 2 pm but no other compensation.

Disappointed I stayed at this hotel because my fiancé is in the hospital and I live an hour away. When I checked in I gave a credit card for a 5 night reservation from Monday-Friday. Thursday I extended my reservation until Sunday and provided a second credit card for Friday and Saturday night. Saturday the housekeeper knocked on my door in the morning and asked me if I was checking out. I told her not until tomorrow (Sunday). A few minutes later my room phone rang and a man at the front desk asked me if I was checking out. I told him I was checking out tomorrow but I just found out I might need to extend my stay until Monday. Things were complicated with my fiancé being in the hospital so I wasn’t sure exactly how long I needed to stay. He told me he would just extend my stay until Monday and we could sort out the payments during check out. Sunday night at 9:30 PM while I was trying to sleep, the room phone rang. It was a different man at the front desk asking me about my credit card. I told him what the man said the day before. Then Monday at 9 AM the hotel phone rang and I was woken up by it and asked again about payment. I explained the entire situation again. He told me the man last night did not tell him he spoke with me. Then he told me there wasn’t a credit card on file at all. I told him I provided two cards. Then he said ,”Oh, I was looking at the wrong room. I see your cards now.” Then at check out I told the man (whom I spoke with that morning) again the entire story. He laughed. I told him I was annoyed and extremely disappointed about the entire situation. He laughed again. I didn’t have an issue with the room itself, but due to the constant bothering of calls and knocks on my door, their confusion with what I was telling them, no breakfast offered in the lobby, and the fact that I was laughed at, I am not sure I will stay here at this location again. Also I was charged a daily fee of $13.41 that I was not advised of during check in or at check out. This is just something I saw on my print out (I wasn’t even given a receipt I had to request one). This charge is shown as a “Falls Church Hotel Tax.” I have never heard of this, and I am upset I wasn’t advised of this prior to check in. No one at any point apologized for any of my inconveniences either.

Nice hotel, bad experience this time We used to love staying here! The rooms are nice and the staff was always nice. This time when we arrived Terron already seemed to have an attitude. Then when we went to the room there was no table and chairs to eat and no bathtub like the room I paid for online. When I went to ask Terron he said that the rooms are different than online. When I said well there’s no table there. He rudely said it’s not what’s online. When I asked for a chair, he said no. I asked maybe for a chair from another room or the breakfast area and again he refused to give me a chair. Then he said he wouldn’t even help me because I wasn’t listening to him about not giving me a chair. I don’t see how they couldn’t possibly give me a chair so we could both sit at the desk, not even table, that was in our room. Another thing is he said nothing when welcoming me. The previous staff always said thanks for coming back. Overall it was a bad experience. We specifically booked a room with a bath tub because I have chronic pain and one with a table so we could save money, cook, and eat comfortably. Then they came knocking on my door at 8am.

An average accommodation My stay was booked for two consecutive nights. The room seemed to be renovated, was clean so far and size was ok. Unfortunately it was not soundproof, so that you could hear other guests talking in their rooms. And sometimes the Wifi was a bit slow. There are a few restaurants located within walking distance. Also a Target can be reached by foot.
