Red Roof Inn Fargo - I-94/ Medical Center

¡¡What a GREAT overnightery‼️ After a full day of motoring 486miles/778kms North from The Auburn Inn to this exceptional RED ROOF INN (US75 > NE2 > I-29) with few stops/deviation except for fuel/food/“nooners”(milspec)/Missouri River Basin Lewis & Clark Visitor Center/USGS EROS. Lucky for me that multi-lingual HOPE was on duty to check me in; she our me in the nearby ground-floor ADA-compliant room #120. (Gimp)walking there, I spied the cool pool and adjacent hot tub; my joints were rejoicing! It was wasn’t long before I was taking selfies with water bubbling around my knees. Unfortunately, my cellphone didn’t like the humidity and began protesting. I was barely able send/receive messages, and was actually glad to be in this much larger community where it would be easier to find a good fix/repair service. The next morning, 15MAY2024, I reserved another night with helpful VICKY. She gave me a phone number for Purity Technologies to register my complaint after I told her that RED ROOF INN was a World-class overnightery because less-IT power away from the front desk/office was typical. She met my skepticism with a shrug, saying this was the “established procedure”. Then I enjoyed a leisurely/long brekkie, which included a couple of cream-cheese covered bagels (I was a bit surprised to see no waffle maker/syrup) and lots of COFFEE to wash it all down. As expected, bring closer to the front office improved IT, and my distant wife (she was still at home in El PasoTX-USA) approved. It was still early, so I returned for more welcomed sleep. —and realized that maybe I could post my daily info while enjoying a L-O-N-G lunch at McDonald’s, which has free WiFi. Upon returning to the RED ROOF INN, I called the earlier-provided number and was most surprised when SEAN answered. This IT-genius remotely assisted me and, by golly, my cellphone returned to full capacity! DAISY was on duty, and she knowingly accepted my kudos/gratefulness for the immense help during my 2-nights here. RED ROOF INN certainly has my highly-coveted ”¡Wheel of Approval!”

Never stay here 0/10. Smells disgusting, sheets were gross. Would never recommend this place to anyone wanting to feel safe at a hotel. The door by our room leading outside was busted and propped open. Claims they are smoke free and reeks like weed and smoke.

I had to rest the heat/ac unit to make it work. Before were comfortable with lots of pillows. The hotel says they have truck parking. There's one spot on the street to park. The lady at the front desk said the pool was down for maintenance. I didn't make a big deal about it the first night because I figured I would have to call hotels.com so they could do whatever on their end to see if I could cancel the second night. I called hotels.com and talked to someone explaining that I needed to see if they would let me cancel the second night since they misleading said there was a pool to use when I booked but wasn't. The guy said he needed to email the hotel and wait for a response. They never called me back to update me. I called again and talked to a lady who then called the hotel. She told me that they would not allow a refund since it was booked advanced notice non-refundable. If I would have known there was no working pool, I wouldn't have booked it in the first place. So, I then tried calling hotel directly. Again, they told me they would not refund me because it was non-refundable advanced booking. I said I would have never booked initially if I would have known they didn't have a pool. Then she goes on to tell me that there website was updated to show no pool but the third party site failed to update. However, I just checked the amenities list directly at redroof.com and it lists pool there right now. The lady I talked to directly at the hotel said she wouldn't even offer a partial discount. I compare this to going in to get service done on your vehicle such as saying you want an oil change AND a tire rotation but they just say sorry we are out of oil but we are still going to charge you full price for both services. If you aren't going to provide the amenities listed, at a minimum you should refund a percentage back to me if you won't allow me to cancel. The lady said manager wasn't in but would relay the message but I never heard anything back. We heard another family complaining about the same issue before we left. I would not recommend supporting this hotel if they treat their customers like this. THERE IS NO POOL CURRENTLY!

Excellent service, venue and location! Only flaws in our 2 night stay was the low selection for breakfast and the hot tub jets being broken. It's an older venue with appropriate modern updates. If RediRewards was as vast as competitors, I'd have enrolled. We will encourage this hotel to friends and family.

Worth the money The room was clean. Stayed on the second floor. The noise from the interstate was noticed late in the night, a room on the north side would have solved it. The breakfast was different both days. Front desk was helpful in recommending things to do in town and directions
