Penny-Pinching Paradise: Steer Clear if You Think Free Parking Comes Standard Like The Others!! Ah, the mystique of Hampton Inn! First off, it's part of the illustrious Hilton Hotel empire, because nothing screams luxury like a recognizable brand name. Secondly, they graciously throw in breakfast, perfect for those business trips where you're footing the bill. And who could forget the free parking? Oh, wait a second... turns out that was just wishful thinking, as this particular Hampton Inn conveniently forgets to mention their parking fees until they've got your signature on the dotted line. No signs, no warnings—just a sneaky little surprise waiting for you at checkout. But fear not, dear guest! Despite having more rooms than parking spots, they'll happily charge you for the privilege of not finding a space. It's a masterclass in financial acrobatics: overbook the lot, then make guests pay for the privilege of circling like vultures in search of a spot. Who needs ethics when you've got revenue goals to meet? And don't even get me started on the state of the place. The rooms? Tired. The hotel itself? Tired. The whole experience leaves you feeling like you've stumbled into a time warp back to the 80s, complete with tacky decor and questionable cleanliness. So, congratulations, Hampton Inn! You've managed to tarnish your brand faster than a speeding bullet, all thanks to the genius of your franchise owners. Bravo.

Warning! Warning! Warning! Don’t Stay Here! **Hotel Name: Hampton Inn Brookhaven LI **Location: Ocean Ave $15 Parking Fee **Dates of Stay:** June 30- July 4,2024 WARNING, WARNING!! DO NOT STAY HERE We recently stayed at the Hampton Inn Brookhaven and unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. Despite its central location, several issues made our stay uncomfortable and unenjoyable. First, there was a large softball team competing in some tournament that was partying from 8:30pm until well past 11:30pm on our first night stay. The group was very loud and disruptive right across from our room in the dining room. We could not hear the television or get any sleep. We called the front desk and no answer. We finally went to the front desk and the agent was outnumbered by the 60-70 people that were partying in the lobby/ dining area. The team had took over the entrance and the lobby /dining area. The overall quality, atmosphere, and cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. The carpet was dingy, dated, and stained. The bathroom has poor ventilation and drainage issues. The sink is very slow to drain and we had to constantly request for maintenance to come and assist with flushing the toilet. We contacted Hilton customer service and informed them about all of the issues and they compensated us for the first night. However, we did notice that they still charged the $15 parking fee and after going back down to the front desk they removed the $15 parking fee for the first night. Please make sure you lock the door with the safety feature as we had a housekeeper walk into our room on 7/3/24 without knocking on the door and properly announcing herself. I would not recommend staying here because this hotel does not provide the consistent Hilton Hotel quality of services that one would typically expect from the Hilton Hotel brand. FYI, we requested an extra set of towels from the housekeeper and she refused and said we have to get towels from the front desk, although we were staying 4 nights.. This lack of attention to customer service and the overuse of Santal room fragrance blends to cover up the filth was very off-putting. The hotel has to be a franchised Hilton partner because everything that we recently experienced indicates a stay at a cheap motel. Overall, As a frequent traveler, I expected a higher standard from Hilton and was very disappointed with this experience. I would not recommend this hotel and suggest looking for other options in the area. **Rating:** 1 out of 5 stars

Not coming back I would not go out of my way to stay here again. I only knew about the parking fee when reading reviews online. They never mentioned it. I used Priceline and had thought everything was paid for, but they charged my card the next day for a parking fee, even though I had asked on my way out that we do not owe anything and the reception said no you do not have any charges, only to find it the next day on my card. I also think since we used priceline they gave a un-preferred room. We had a connecting room by the elevator. We did not know the person next to us and you can hear every little noise, including there down slamming. We heard the person on the phone for about 3-4 hours until 1AM and could not go to bed. The breakfast was decent but that was the only thing. The parking is also in the back, so you have to go around to bring your stuff in because there is no back door open. Which I agree for safety reasons on whey they lock the back door, but I can understand if you were traveling alone why you wouldn't want to stay here.

Stay Away!! Terrible security staff and Non-caring staff and Manager!!! I use Hilton Hotels for EVERY time I go away. I am an Honors Gold member as well. Hiltons usually spot on and dont disappoint. well unfortunately this place disappointed BIG TIME! So I was there with some family and friends. We went out for the day and then decided to chill in the lobby later that night, nice and quiet and hanging out. I go into the bathroom (used a stall) went in and just pulled door and didnt lock it since I was not doing any private business, just #1. Then out of nowhere the doors SLAMS hard as heck and I hear a voice saying "close that F^&*^%$ DOOR, nobody wants to see that S%^&!!!" I was in complete shock. I come out and there is standing a black guy who happens to be the security guard this hotel decided to hire. I didnt even know what to say and just said 'for real man, was that necessary?" He just said F%^& yea it was. I just walked out in shock. I mean I was in stall didnt lock door but I would have been more exposed if I used a urinal. To make matters worse I decided to go to the manager the next day to complain, manager wasnt in but the girl said please tell me what happen I will be sure to tell the manager, I told her, she took my cell phone number and wouldnt you know it - I HEARD NOTHING BACK from ANYONE!! Amazing. Staff there must be the same way as the security they hire. How do you not at least return my call??? Do yourselves a favor and stay away from this place. I always though security was supposed to make a place more safe and secure. Well this guy did the complete opposite.
