Not good for kids or non smokers The room itself was good. Fridge, Oven, Microwave, comfortable bed and pillows. Nice view of mountains and very convenient to Rout 9/I-84/Taconic so for that its good. But once you check in, the whole plus reeks of Ganja (Marijuana). #rd floor was especially bad. Some days it was even on the 1st floor at coffee area. Not good for kids or non smokers like me. It claims its non smoking but not enforced. I literally opend by window to get fresh air in.

THE WORST EVER!!!! We had a bowling group of 11 girls to bowl in the Senior Singles in Jefferson Valley. In evening after dinner, we all get together in a common area to play cards. The particular man on duty that evening told us we had to leave at 11 pm . In the past at other hotels we were never given a time limit. The manager, however, came out and said we could stay. The next night, this same man put a sign on door stating no entry closed. I spoke to him and was able to get him to remove that sign. He was not very pleasant to deal with. Also, we did not have a hair dryer in our room so we asked this same guy if he could find one for us. He said he would try---well, we never got one. Also, our suite had a kitchen but NO pots or pans, or dishes or utensils. The breakfast was terrible. Only nutribars, coffee, muffin, instant oatmeal BUT no bowls no milk just coffeemate. It was the WORST complimentary breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. Outside the common area was a patio BUT no chairs or benches to sit on. There was no place to sit outside the hotel.....I will never return to this hotel and in the future I will make sure I address these issues ahead of time. TERRIBLE AND VERY UNHAPPY STAY

Intimidating and smelly 1. Every floor smells of garbage. Heavily. Each floor has a garbage room near elevators with no door/open door. Even when they empty the bins the garbage smell remains, no change. 2. Hallways and my non smoking room smell of cigarettes. After a full shower and change into clean clothes I left the hotel with a mild but noteable hotel small on me. It made me feel dirty all day. 3. The hotel is obviously providing public assistance housing. You will see this indoors and outdoors. Parking then going inside you will pass groups of them hanging out in the lot drinking and smoking. You will pass them in the lobby, hallways and elevator. They will make comments you can’t quite make out completely. It feels unsafe. When coming home from dinner I found the young couple who just checked in that afternoon leaving. Fully leaving with all their luggage. They stayed 3 hours and liked pretty shaken. There will be a small percentage of normal looking guests there, duped and tricked like us to book online. But overall you will feel the guests have a theme to them that is very unusual and different from what you encounter in daily life. I felt that people book there to visit their loved ones in the nearby imprison. Or to stay a while after picking up the loved one from prison release. And if you are like us, the oddity, obviously not suffering in life, you will be stared at and feel intimidated. It’s shameful. There has to be a way to know it’s not a decent place before booking.

It’s okay We needed a location that was in the middle of our vacation activities. Father chose this himself. It’s off the highway near some banks, restaurants etc…. The room is spacious with a full kitchen. The name Extended Stay implies services for an… extended stay. Cooking might be limited, as you have to open windows to prevent smoke alarm going off. There’s a kitchen island low enough to sit at but there was no chair. My father’s room had an island that was extremely bowed in middle, No carpets so that’s nice for people with allergies. Bed was comfy enough. There seems to be no automatic daily maid service ( maybe ask for it ? ). Room is dated and could use some refreshing, but it’s not a deal breaker. The shower rod was dangling by loose bolts, but we asked staff and it was fixed that same day. There’s an ironing board and hair dryer but no coffee machine ( maybe because there’s a microwave ? ). There’s no ice machine. No “media” room which is odd if this is marketed as an extended stay for business types. The breakfast provided is granola bars and packaged Quaker Oats. Coffee carafes are there but no tea options for the rest of us. It’s not a “Continental” if that’s what you’re looking for, but there’s just enough to snack on to get you going. I suppose the full kitchen offsets the lack of breakfast options. But for those of us on a budget we can’t quite afford to eat out every morning. No pool or gym… I don’t use that stuff anyway. All staff has been friendly and helpful.

Too expensive for so little received. I wouldn't recommend this location. Too expensive since several things were missing from the room and several things were broken in the room. The room could've been cleaner also. To operate the tv was quite challenging so instructions could've or should've been provided. The breakfast was little to none, so we opted not to get any (but again when choosing a hotel, the food and the location helps decisions). We were disappointed to say the least.
