Worst hotel in Florence, S.C. Econo Lodge, 1920 W Lucas Street, Levon Thomas, Assistant Manager The room I was given at check in was terrible, room was dirty, roaches crawling up the walls, the filthy carpet was wet from the A/C, cigarette burns all over bathtub, notified management-Levon Thomas, he did nothing about my issue with the room, Management did not care, in fact, he told me to check out and said he was going to refund some of my money, so at last minute I had to find another hotel during Race Weekend IN Darlington, Race Fans DON'T stay at this hotel ever you will regret it.

Find another place This place has seen better days and while the staff was very helpful and friendly keep driving. Broken light switches, burned out and cracked outlets and hairdryer. Holes in the walls and a door that lets in a lot of light and barley locks. I guess there a reason it’s only $60.00 and that’s $40.00 too high.

Avoid this place at all costs!!! Absolutely the worst hotel I've ever been in. Disgusting! We got our room key, went up in the dead bug filled elevator. Slid through the greasy hallway, walked into the room, turned around and left. We NOPED the F out!

This was horrible The doors to the halls did not lock. Crack heads knocking on door all night. ROACHES EVERYWHERE!!!!the advertised breakfast is cereal. That’s it. We got up in the morning to leave to be greeted by a man who was definitely on drugs trying to break into peoples rooms. We alerted the man at front office and he shrugged it off. We expressed our concerns and no refund was offered. Do not waste your money. Pay the extra $10 and stay somewhere with working a/c doors that lock. And no roaches.

THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY! We stayed here for one night, 4-15-22 till check out on 4-16-22. The lady in the office was very rude. I asked about the breakfast that was advertised and got a very rude no. The room was very dated and I would guess not clean since the carpet was nasty and the table had a stain on it. I literally wiped down the entire room with disinfectant wipes and sprayed with Lysol. I used my own sheet to put on top of the bed, didn't bother to pull back the covers. The following day, they tried getting money from my visa 3 times. By the time I made it back to Texas, they had tried 4 more times. They started at 316.00 and worked their way down to 74.00. Fortunately, I didn't use my bank card. These are some DIRTY LOWDOWN ROTTEN SCAMMERS!! This place looks nothing like the pictures. FALSE ADVERTISING!!! They need to go to JAIL for trying to steal!!!
