Stay away until February We were planning a getaway to the Niagara region and wanted a nice room. When we arrived at the hotel, we found out that the hotel was undergoing significant renovations. They were installing tile in the lobby so we had to step over a half-finished floor. When we were given our room key, we were sent to a floor where all the rooms had no furniture. The mattresses and room furniture were piled in the hall. We were finally given a suitable room on another floor. The room was bit dated so we are looking forward to seeing the renovations when completed. In the meantime, the property listing should include a notice regarding the renovations so customers can decide whether they want to enjoy a relaxing stay in a construction zone.

Recently Visited Elevator has gone days without a cleaning, front desk service unprofessional. Saturday morning desk clerk very defines another character, stated to family leave the hotel if you don't like what you see.

A place to rest your head Room was clean on entry. There is no daily cleaning. If you need clean towels, you have to go to the front desk. No onsite restaurants and you have to personally dispose of food debris from your room. No service whatsoever. It’s only a place to rest if you are far away from home.

Underwhelming for the price I would like to preface this review by saying that the staff were very nice and helpful. They helped us with whatever we needed. However, for what we paid, we were underwhelmed. Due to COVID, many of the amenities they offer were not available. This includes the whirlpool, sauna, room service, restaurant, bar and mid-stay room tidy-ups. There was also no coffee or tea available in the room. I completely understand making concessions due to the pandemic. However, there were no information available in the rooms to inform guests on what was closed, or even a channel list or list of local restaurants guests can visit in lieu of room service. Also, then hotel did not seem to offer discounted stays at all despite not having most of the amenities offered (I paid about $340.00 for a two night stay). For not even getting coffee in your room, that's steep! One last thing I will mention is the cleanliness of the rooms. The inside of our ice bucket was really dirty, as was multiple other areas of the room. (Inside where the coffee machine is, the drawers). Again I understand cutting back due to COVID, however you would hope at least for a clean room. In summary, we will probably not be returning.
