Not sure I would trust the owner I question the legitimacy of this hotel as meeting the requirements of HILTON. we checked in before arrival, the cancelled our hotel before arrival at 2 am. Got sleep, came to breakfast 30 minutes before scheduled close and the cook was leaving, complained to front desk, called ower, had breakfast at another location, asked to be reimbursed for my breakfast that we should have had, over agreed after a few calls, was aggressive and credited for $50 not the $32 I was asking for. THEN get this, charged me $50 on my AMX and then credited $50 like he did something (SMART) because AMX sees it as a non charge not an agreed credit. We WILL NOT be back and Im a diamond 10 fold for many years.

Good Location. Not up to the Hilton standard. Overall this boutique hotel is in a decent location which is why it gets three stars. Being next to first street bars and restaurants is great. The hotel itself could use some work. At checkin I was not greeted with a welcoming team member nor was I acknowledged for being Hilton Honors member. The hotel common areas could use some updating. The elevator is extremely slow. My room was clean and the view was okay. However, there were many black ants around the TV. The morning clerk did not speak or acknowledge my presence. Just stared me down instead of speaking. The Valet gentleman was the best part of the stay. He knew how to treat a guest!

Awful for many reasons The bed in our room was dirty when we arrived. We called the front desk and was told no housekeeping was there and she wasn’t a housekeeper so we can come downstairs and pick up the sheets to change it ourselves. She allowed us to change rooms. In the second room there was no cold water in the bathroom - literally, the only water coming out of the shower or sink was hot. There were holes in the curtains. There’s apparently an issue with homeless people in that area, so the security guard locks the front door and refused to let us in at 9pm saying the door is locked at night. We had to walk around the block to find a poorly lit side entrance. This place is atrocious. They put a few unfinished decorative details to try to hide the fact that this is a dump. We tried calling twice after checkout to talk to the manager, and he never returned our calls. We both travel for work and this is by far the worst Hilton we have ever encountered.

Poor customer service The manager Rebekah Williams, needs to be trained properly or removed from employment from Hilton hotel’s family. We are local taxpayers and frequent customers at one of the restaurants near the Banyan Hilton hotel, as well as frequent Hilton honors members, as well as personal friends of the restaurant owner. Rebekah has on numerous times called the Ft. Myers police on my wife & I and friends for trespassing. The police show up and continue to let us stay at restaurant tables near the banyan lobby because there is not a trespassing issue with the police or the restaurant owners. For a manager of a Hilton hotel to waste taxpayer dollars multiple times and file false police reports is way out of her lane in a hospitality driven atmosphere that that Hilton hotel demands. She has ordered her night auditors to call the police and report a trespass case as soon as we are seen by her staff. We have talked to corporate and filed a formal complaint with her, which is currently under Hilton investigation. We are not sure why she feels the need to continue to waste the police department’s time by filing false police reports? We have never met her . We suspect it has do with racism? My wife is Asia… I look forward to our meeting with Jenn Chick Hiltons executive VP of Hospitality to discuss Rebekah’s unprofessional conduct in person in a sit down also attended by a Ft. Myers police department captain in the near future. It’s been my experience and Hilton hotels mission to welcome guests and non guests to frequent their lobbies and watch sports, have dinner or cocktail. But we were never even on Hilton property during any of Rabekh’s false police reports. As a Hilton honors members, veterans and local taxpayers enjoying our free time in the very exciting Ft. Myers nightlife, we are shocked by the way we are treated by some unprofessional 3rd rate motel 6 trained hotel manager at such a fine hotel and establishment.
