Dishonorable I made a reservation at this B&B and then had to cancel it. I cancelled it within their free cancellation time period. To my surprise on my next credit card statement, they had charged me for my full stay. I contacted the B&B and they blamed it on Booking.com not letting them know that I had cancelled. She said though that they would refund me what they had charged since I had the email proving my cancellation but she would need to do it by check. When the check arrived in the mail, it was not for the full amount, she had deducted $60 for some fee she made up. When I contacted her again, she told me that it was a fee that Booking.com had charged her. I am now dealing with Booking.com to get that fee back. I should never have been charged in the first place. This in my opinion is a totally dishonorable B&B.

Cindy was a great communicator and worked with our difficult schedule. Such a cute place in a location one would not expect. The owner/chef worked with us and provided, at a reasonable rate, a late night charcuterie and wine upon our very late arrival. The Lone Star Room was amazing, and the reviews are correct; it is noisy and you can hear the train, but TTWH provides the perfect ear plugs. The AC and fan are perfect for lolling one to sleep after an amazing soak in the claw foot tub. We only had one breakfast, due to our schedule, and it was quite good. The property amenities and ease of use were great. The owner/chef communicated with us perfectly and directions and use of the property were clearly explained. We can recommend this property without reservation. VR KQ

Weekend Getaway My husband and I live in Dallas but decided to do a weekend in Fort Worth. We had never stayed in a B&B before. I wasn’t sure what to expect but was very pleased. You can tell they have taken thought and care in decorating the house and the room. We stayed in Cowtown East in the carriage house in the back. Everywhere was so welcoming, the main house, the room and the grounds. It was confidently located to the different things we wanted to do and within walking distance to Magnolia Ave with several restaurants. Breakfast at the B&B was delicious. We hope to be back and to check out a different room. So grateful for the hospitality.

Super Staycation Top notch experience. Wonderful accommodations in a beautifully restored 1910 home. Lots of authentic Millwork and architectural detail. Gracious house manager and innkeeper. Great house with a library of many local and Texas books. I enjoyed seeing the amazing artwork featured in the house by local artists. Breakfast was good and I enjoyed being able to walked to Magnolia Ave. Comfy bed and a bathroom you just have to see!
