Sweet place, good price I really enjoyed the place, like- The murals on the outdoor walls, the creative front desk and the touches of uniqueness in the room. I live that they do not use scented laundry products. The room and bathroom were clean and I hope they put the same unscented qualities into the cleaning products. Dont expect big towels, maybe bring your own. The pool was heated to 85*. It looked nice. The feel was kinda quiet and country except for bright ugly lights on neighboring buildings. They are doing a great job there I’d definitely go again.

Watch your credit card transactions!!! The website claims they treat guests as "treasured friends," but charged an additional $25 to my credit card for seemingly no reason. When I called, I was told that housekeeping reported two towels and a bathmat missing, to which I replied, "Um, what?!! That's completely wrong. There's been a mistake." This is the point in the conversation when I expected the staff person to reverse the charge and thank me for following up. Instead he told me his manager would call me. At my work, when someone says there's been a mistake on their account, I believe them. Twenty-five dollars matters, and so does someone's word. I'm returning to the area in a few months and have already booked the property next door. Watch your credit card transactions if you stay!!

Pass on this property Pass on this hotel........ online pictures may look good........but we have nothing positive to say about this property. Paper thin walls. Cheap uncomfortable old mattress ..........beds very low to floor. Cheap old bedding and pillows. Needs updating EVERYWHERE. Ice machine was broken........... Heater in our room made an awful grinding noise at night........ so had to turn off the unit. A miserable night of sleep. Breakfast was the worst. Yogurt was in a bowl ....not individual yogurts. Not healthy. Look elsewhere.

Ripped Off We have stayed at this hotel twice before, but upon checking in this time I said to my husband “this Hotel has new owners”. I had a confirmed booking for 2 nights from 19th September and confirmed price through their own website. We arrived on Thursday 19 September 2024 and was told by the receptionist that my booking was for 20th and 21st September. I showed her my booking and she eventually found me a room. Upon checking my credit card balance I noticed that she had added an extra charge. I tried to explain that my booking was at a confirmed rate, but she just said there was nothing she could do about it. The next day we asked her again about the extra charge and she told me I had to ring the owner, I told her no, it was up to her to sort it out, she said she would get the owner to ring me, but of course he never did. We will never stay at this hotel again or recommend this hotel. It was a very unpleasant stay. Upon checking out 2 staff members, Jamie and Telera remembered us from previous stays and apologised for the way we were treated.

Do NOT stay here. DO NOT STAY HERE! Pros: The lobby is cute and there is a nice outdoor courtyard space. They have a continental breakfast. That’s about it though. Walking in, the room was dingy and just didn’t feel clean. The beds were really soft, not in a good way, but rather that they were really old and past their expiration date by 20 years or so. The sheets were also obviously quite old (lots of pilling) and not in good shape. Horribly uncomfortable. Neither my friend nor I slept well in these beds and we both woke up with our backs hurting (and neither of us have back issues and my friend usually sleeps like a rock.) The heater in the room ran, but did not heat, so we were also quite chilly and there were no extra blankets in the room. The courtyard area was also VERY loud until very late (past midnight). I had booked for 2 nights based on reviews, and was quite sorry I had. The next morning, I tried to talk to the front desk about leaving and getting my money back for night 2, but the woman said she just started working there and there wouldn’t be a manager available until 1:00. We ended up checking out anyway and I left my number for someone to call. We decided that we just couldn’t do another terrible night there. A couple of hours later, I did get a call back from the lady who just started saying her manager said there was nothing they could do because we booked through a 3rd party app. Nothing more offered. What that manager failed to convey is that if I call the 3rd party app, the hotel can confirm we did not stay for night 2 so we might get a refund. I found that out at our replacement hotel and I am working on that. Terrible experience. Would rate negative stars if I could, and I NEVER leave a bad review. I don’t want anyone else to have this experience though. Try the Best Western Plus around the corner instead or go into Eureka or Arcata. We ended up at a Best Western Plus in Eureka for night two and it was a welcome improvement.
