THEFT!!!! Has NO understanding of reality nor compassion for someone who is experiencing hardship beyond their control The hotel policies for NON cancelation due to events outside of one's control are ludicrous! My flight was cancelled due to "technical mechanic issues" from several states away from Arizona. There was NO way that I was going to be able to drive 3 days to a business event that would be over by the time I arrive NOR was there any guarantee that the airline(United) could get me there with another flight. There is only ONE plane at a time that flies out of my local airport to/from the main hub. The schedule I picked was to allow me to fly over during a set time period in order for me to return in time for a clinic that I am in charge of. It only works if the schedule is not interrupted. Since United couldn't fly, I was unable to even consider carrying on with the plan. The hotel is NOT out of any labor NOR costs for a simple 2 minute reservation that was PREPAID. The fact that they believe that they can legal charge a person for NO SERVICES RENDERED is asinine!!! It's called THEFT! I cannot send a bill to my client and forcibly make them pay and then turn around and NOT provide products/services. I stay at this place the last time I was there on business due to convenient location. I will be returning to Fountain Hills several more times in the next few years and I will NEVER stay here again. I'll pay and TIP extra for Uber to drive me to the needed destination(s) from a hotel that understands customer service and the reality of life has occasional obstacles.

Horrible guest services Motel is horrible outdated, the management is horrible and owners. Toilets are broke, shower heads are broke. This has far been the worst stay I've had. Stay away from here for sure. I will never tell anyone to stay here. There's much nicer motels in the area to stay at a little more pricier but you get what you pay for just like this place

Bad Experience We booked this room using Chase Travel in early November, 2023. We arrived for what was to be a 3 night stay on Friday, January 19, 2024. We were assigned an "accessible" room. It had no closet, just a small clothes rack opposite the sink. The room with the toilet/shower had some sort of chair in it, but to get it into the shower, if that's what you wanted, would take two people. The entire room was in shoddy condition. The worst part is it reeled of tobacco smoke residue and heave cleaning fluids. I complained to the desk clerk who was cordial but didn't help. The smells got worse, making my wife sick. In the middle of the night I complained to a different clerk who said I needed to talk with his manager. I called and manager who did not answer, so I left a message. Early Saturday, January 20, we checked out, asking for a refund for our terrible night and to cancel the next two nights. We called our Chase Travel agent who contacted the hotel and was able to get a refund for 2 nights, but no satisfaction for our first night. This property definitely did not live up to the Comfort Inn brand name, with the exception that the staff were all kind and courteous - just not empowered to make things right.

Thieves! And poor utilities called two weeks in advance to amend my stay was told I couldn’t amend my stay or get a refund but was told it was fine to check in any time of my stay. I got there 1 day into my stay and was told my room was given away and I was to be charged a penalty and to be billed for a room a second time. Mind you my father had a heart attack which was explained to your manager rupa 2 weeks prior. I explained that a number of times to the general manager upon my arrival at the hotel but because it was not what he wanted to hear he told me it didn’t matter and he would not call her to confirm because he doesn’t care. all you care about is that I pay to rent the room for the same nights a second time. I asked they put in writing and was told they would not so I recorded it from my second phone would be happy to attach the recording. I called their corporate office and to the contrary they said the hotel Handled business wildly inappropriately because they too were on the call and recommended I file a complaint against you on Expedia and on Google because it was completely up to the general manager to make the right choice and give me my money back since you would not allow me to stay at the hotel. And thus the review. In addition to that I was told I’d have received better customer service from them if I booked not through Expedia or any type of booking site and rather through them directly. Even more I met a family in the lobby also wanting to speak to the gm because they checked in the night before and had no warm water that night well into the next night and wanted to check out. They called to confirm they were not going to stay the week the originally asked for and wanted to be build only for the two nights. Sunny the receptionist said they needed to talk to rupa who never called them and the gm showed little to no interest in helping anyone. Actually billed them for the whole week and was refusing a refund though they only stayed the 2 nights

Horrible customer service-dishonest-scam I booked a stay for 6/1-6/3 and informed I was traveling with pets. I needed to add a night and sent a message a few days later. I gave it a few weeks because I assumed everyone was busy and it was never acted on. I went in to fix it myself and thought I was adding a night of 5/31 and inadvertently added an extra room, so now I have a double booking of 6/1-6/3 AND 5/31-6/3. I called the property within 5 minutes of this action to have it corrected and desk clerk Clarissa laughed and said "Oh well I'm going to be charged twice." I asked for the manager to call me. Three days go by and no reply. I next reached out to the app and they said the hotel can release the obvious double booking error and *they* reached out twice to mediate. No reply. I sent messages as well. No reply. I take my complaint to Google and magically the GM "Sam" pops up and says she never heard from anyone (lie #1 multiple messages sent by different people) and to go to the booking app for my refund becuse she "can't" (lie #2). I posted a screenshot where the booking app agent says the GM needs to accept their request for correction, it's in the hotel's power to grant not the agency. If Comfort Inn continues to refuse to offer a refund for the double booking, the booking agent rep suggested a compromise to the hotel and offer a voucher to be used at any of their chain properies, that way nobody is out any money. The agency rep said most properties are amiable to this solution and I agreed in lieu of a refund, I'd accept a voucher. GM Sam also refused this reasonable request and informed me via the app she prevoiusly claimed "not to have heard from." No ethical business acts in this manner. A BBB complaint has been issues and I am also contacting the state AG for misleading advertising as the clerk told me along with keeping the double charge, my pets wouldn't be accommodated anyway (funny I only mentioned my pets the day I made my original reservation via the app messaging they claimed to "not have heard from.") The booking app has no restriction listed and they came up under the pet friendly filter. Only in the fine print of the corporate website can this pertinent info be found, they accept 1 pet only and I am traveling with more. I wouldn't have booked in the first place if this policy was posted clearly in the app. So when were they going to tell me, the day I check in and it would be too late to dispute with my credit card company? It's my opinion that it was their intention all along to defraud me of my hard earned money. I don't recommend anyone do business with this establishment until they clean house and lose the bad apples out to scam the public. In addition to the above filings I'm going up the corporate chain to inform them of their employee's egregious behavior and dishonesty. What a disgusting experience.
