AMAZING STAFF AND BEAUTIFUL ATMOSPHERE Best Resort I have ever stayed in!! The staff was AMAZING. Everyone was so friendly and created such a nice atmosphere. The staff was easy going and made my husband and I feel so welcome. They made so many efforts to make sure we were taken care of and enjoyed our stay. Special shout out to Sharon and her son Jackson who were so friendly and provided us with such amazing service! The hotel itself is so modern and beautiful. The views from the resort are the best views I have ever seen from a resort. Such a beautiful environment to be in overall. Will definitely be visiting again!

What a great gem! What a gem! Amazing views! High hotel standards! The best team ever! It is rare to rate a resort that does everything right! It begins with the team that makes you feel like you are the only guest! Sharon and Sumaiya greet you as if you are a member of their family! They attend to your needs and ensure that your stay is 5 stars. Lorenzo at Cielo Bar/ restaurant remembered us from a previous visit. We observed him on a busy night as he was in his true element— making us all feel as if we are at one great party! The resort has the most amazing Mountain View’s and the cleanliness standards are beyond measure. The pools and the expansive outdoor space makes us feel as if we are far from home. We loved every moment of our stay here. Thank you Adero! You are truly what the Bonvoy experience should be!

WOW what a nice surprise . We were delighted to find this hotel sitting near the top of Fountain Hills. We pulled up and 2 valet worked came and opened our doors and greeted us. This hotel has a beautiful feeling from the moment we walked in. We were assisted at desk by a woman named Sharon….so helpful and kind. Our room was on the 6th floor. Amazing views of the area from our balcony. Bar and restaurant were excellent. You could sit inside with views from every window or on their outer deck. A short walk brings you to pools or hot tubs with plenty of towels. Large fitness center with coffee bar on lower level. Really enjoyed our stay here, and look forward to booking here again.

Opportunities For Improvement I booked a stay at Adero with friends to celebrate my partner's birthday, lured in by the seemingly attractive price. Despite being aware of its location a bit outside of Scottsdale and having encountered mixed reviews, my experience failed to live up to the "Autograph" brand promise. Check-in was smooth, a positive note amidst disappointments. However, one of the passenger elevators remained out of order throughout my stay, a clear negative. My first meal at the property was enjoyable, albeit with slow service. Yet, the comfort of the mattress and pillows (too soft) left much to be desired, resulting in a discomforting night and a backache. The gym pleasantly surprised me, ranking among the best I've seen in hotels or resorts. However, some equipment lacked cleanliness and maintenance. While showering, I found the provided amenities surprisingly gentle on my skin, a rare delight in hotel toiletries. However, breakfast proved frustrating with long wait times and overwhelmed staff. Throughout my stay, there were both highs and lows, leaving a mixed impression. Notably, guests should be wary of the automatic parking fee, which requires disputing if unused. Would I choose this hotel again? At half the price of luxury alternatives like The Phoenician or The Arizona Biltmore, maybe. But at the same price, absolutely not.

Needs Some Work The Adero is really now a 3 star hotel masquerading as a luxury resort. The pluses are great views, a very nice gym and a small but serviceable spa, plus many of the staff are nice. The minuses are that the food is pedestrian (despite the price - even with inflation), served slowly, and sometimes not available at all. For example, the take-out counter decided to close Sunday morning for renovations, despite assurances the previous night that it would be open. Only one of their elevators was functioning, and many of their water stations on individual floors were closed. There is no ice available, except by request (and then they do deliver a lot :-)), and no room service. They also miss the easy-amenities, like water in the lobby (there is a water station downstairs near the pool and gym, but it takes a while to find it) and free coffee in the mornings. In the rooms, the beds are nice, but there is only one drawer and 7-9 hangers for clothes. With a little more thought and property maintenance, this resort could really up its game. I hope that they do.
