Over night stay Check in and check out was ok. There is alot of condtruction going on. We really didnt sleep to well, there were multiple people outside our room all hours of the night talking and slamming car doors. Over all it was an ok trip.

NOT as advertised We came to Frankfort for Bourbon week and had a four-night reservation for two people. I feel we need to preface this and point out that the man and the lady working the front desk were always very nice throughout our stay and dealing with the problems we are about to explain. BUT, that doesn’t mean that the issues that we encountered were any less unacceptable. When we arrived, check in went smoothly and we proceeded to our assigned room. As is our habit, we pulled back the blankets in the bed to look at the linens. One of the beds looked fine but the other had quite a bit of hair on the sheet so we called to get the linens changed. This was taken care of promptly. As we were looking around the room, we quickly realized that the pictures on the Wyndham web site are VERY, VERY different than reality of what we were seeing. Looking at the pictures that we attached, you will see that they are significantly different. Once the linens were changed, we brought our stuff into the room. While we were doing this we noticed how sticky the floor was but didn’t think a lot of it. After settling in, we turned the television on and as you can see by the picture attached, the “cable” reception was less than desirable. You also can see that on the big “Days Inn” sign, it reads “HBO”. This is NOT true. When we asked the front desk what channel HBO is, we were told they didn’t know, maybe 2 or 3. It wasn’t. On the plus side, the air conditioner worked great. We also noticed how the socks we were wearing had become almost black on the bottom from walking around in the room. At this point, we had reached our daily limit. We went to the front desk to explain that we couldn’t be without a television. Again, she was very nice but after calling the manager(?) we were told there was nothing they could do, and we were offered to change rooms. We were offered the choice of two different rooms, so we chose what looked like the cleanest one. After moving all of our belongings to the new choice, I returned to the front desk to return the key cards to the rooms we would not be occupying when my wife called to inform me that the room we chose did not have a refrigerator or a microwave. The guy at the front desk appeared to be surprised and said all the rooms should be the same. We were again offered to change rooms but by this time at night, we just wanted to sit down and relax so we declined a second move. The following morning, we went to the lobby to check out the “Complementary Breakfast”. This breakfast consisted of a few bananas that should have been discarded 3-4 days ago, a few pre-wrapped muffins that were very hard and an orange juice machine and coffee machine that we weren’t brave enough to sample. Over the course of the next couple days, we discovered that every time we returned to our room, the card key would not work so we had to trek back to the front desk and have it reprogrammed. By the time we reached the second to last day we had reservations for, we decided that we couldn’t do it anymore and left the hotel, forgoing the cost we had already paid for the final night. To us, it just wasn’t worth it anymore. We understand that we weren’t staying at the Four Seasons, but they can at least be clean and actually offer the amenities that are advertised. Think long and hard about staying here.

Really dirty floors The rooms were OK but the floors have not been washed in a while. One family member was wearing white socks and after a few hours they were just filthy from the floors. Took a damp towel and confirmed the other room and both bathroom floors were just as bad.

Dirty Very dirty and unclean. Only stayed 30 mins before deciding to leave and go to another hotel. Would never stay there! Do not recommend at all. Hair and crumbs on mini fridge. Stains all over both beds. Floor felt like you were going to fall through. Absolutely disgusting!

I would stay there again. Clean, comfortable, and good breakfast bar. Obviously remodeling rooms. Mine had been updated. Only complaint would be the temporary location of the ice machine. Thumbs up. Excellent value for the price.
