My Hotel Experience My stay at this hotel was a pleasant experience along with my husband and children. The young lady at the front desk with the name, Jada I believe, was very helpful and polite. She was efficient and when we asked for more towels, sheets and pillows, which she made sure we received everything quickly. Our first impression of the room was just what my family needed for the weekend. It was clean and spacious, and made it a comfortable stay. On checkout day, we actually met the manager, Jorge. He was very professional and made sure to ask how our stay was. Overall, we felt very safe and we can all recommend this hotel to other families especially since they are quick to provide extra accommodations. We’ll definitely be reserving another weekend here again.

Don't be tempted by the price or pictures. Act like you don't see this place! The manager, Jorge Ponce and staff member Karina absolutely do not care about guest safety! I understand that this site isn't on par with the likes of a Marriott or Hilton, but at the very least they should care about guest safety. I was in room 207 next door to a belligerent, raging guest. He carried on screaming and banging around on already thin walls/doors. I contacted the front desk where Karina claimed she would check for the disturbance. I have no way to verify whether or not she did. She did not follow up with me, not even to check to see if I was okay. I contacted Orbitz to see if a resolution could be had. I asked to change rooms, she claimed there were none. I asked for a refund, even partially. She and the manager said they could do no such thing. Jorge Ponce, the manager gave me a bogus phone number claiming it was to their corporate office. So I found the correct number myself. I am a travel nurse in the area who was solo and asked the manager Jorge if he would leave his mother/sister/aunt/daughter in such a predicament knowing it was unsafe. HE DOES NOT CARE. Needless to say, I left that dump quickly! It was a 1 night stay that unfortunately turned to 2, where there are transient/homeless people sleeping in the stairwells, people leaving the doors intended to be secured from non-guests propped open for anyone to roam through, front desk personnel with bad attitudes and no concern for safety. Only 1 guest is allowed in the front office where you check in so if you're there in the summer you'll be stuck outside in Fresno's horrible dry heat while the front desk personnel takes their precious time, instead of being considerate of other's well being and time. If you can afford to go elsewhere, do that. Don't let the pics fool you, they're cheap for a reason. THEY DON'T CARE.

Could not wait to check out! I was not expecting much from The Home Towne Studios and got just that. We arrived at roughly 4:00pm and were forced to wait outside as this hotel only allows one guest in the office at a time, when you finally do get in, we were treated like second class citizens, Our rooms were not ready and were made to sign/initial a ridiculous 2 page document regarding hotel policies and told that were being charged a $100 deposit per room deposit (which would be returned provided we left the room reasonably clean and did not steal/damage anything. The rooms had a refrigerator and stove but no cooking utensils or silverware/plates to be found (supposedly those were for rent). The bed was horrible and no blankets. There was a screaming woman/child in the room next to us who went on half the night (to a point my spouse was about to call the police fearing the person was being brutally attacked) and when we reported it, the hotel made some lame excuse about the person being a long term tenant and how they were going to do nothing about it. The second evening, people stood outside our door smoking marijuana and talking loudly and it got a point where we finally had to say something in order to get some sleep. After we left, we discovered this hotel is a voucher hotel where many of the guests are long term residents who are here from south of the border or on state aid.. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay and can tune out the other guests, the Home Towne Studio will do but for myself, I never was so anxious to check out of any hotel as I was this one..

Basic room, everything worked. This was my first time to stay at a Hometown Studios and I was happy with the stay. The room was fairly basic, but matched the online description. WiFi service was good and everything in the room was working. My only complaint would be that the room lighting could be improved. An overhead fluorescent fixture provided good lighting in overall, but the dim bedside wall mounted light fixture was dim, great mood lighting, but impossible to read in bed.

Stay away.... Thieves and unprofessional.....section 8 motel.....if you leave early the vagrants watch and bust into your room leaving you responsible......Rosa the manager ducked my wife for 3 days....I'm an essential worker out 4 days a week in hotels and made a big mistake staying here......
