Smelly rooms Cons: no luggage carts, our door did not close or open easily, the room was so hot and smelled so bad of mildew my son threw up when we arrived. We had to go to the Target next door for air fresheners and damp rid. Pros: Target was next door. The kids had fun at the indoor pool. Bottom line- if you’re on the way to the beach plan ahead to make it to the Montgomery comfort suites, it is much nicer!!

Disgusting! Check into room 114 and noticed immediately the musty smell. When I walked into the room I could feel tackiness on the floors. I took a bath towel and wet it and wipe up the floor, and the entire towel was filthy (picture attached). Noticed the ceiling was saturated with water and they had unsuccessfully tried to repair it numerous times (picture attached). It rained that evening and water dripped through the ceiling, covering the entire room floor. The most disgusting room I’ve ever stayed in!

Nice employees, but rooms & building needs a lot of work We had a quick stay in this location on our way to the gulf. We weren't looking for much as it was just long enough for us to get some sleep and then we were off again early in the morning. The rooms were quite disgusting. Build-up of dirt on the carpet, the A/C leaked condensation all over the carpet leaving a quarter of the room soaked, overbearing smell of mold, the bathroom door would not shut all the way, and we had to work with our main door to get it to lock. Two positives: the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was fully stocked.

Rooms were in need of maintenance We arrived late with kids in tow or else we would have made a different decision (move rooms or hotels). Upon arrival, the room was hot which would have been fine if the AC would have stayed on. The room was very hot throughout the night. Internet was spotty. The bedside lamp was broken, the light in the bathroom was missing the fixture so it was just an exposed bulb, and the shower handle was falling out of the wall. Additionally, the sheets and towels both looked dirty. It was an unpleasant stay.

Please go elsewhere. So very disappointed in this hotel. Stopped overnight and just needed a clean, safe room. Overflowing garbage can at entrance should have been our first clue. Bed was comfortable, but the platform that the mattress sat on was so high that my 6foot tall husband had difficulty getting into bed, and I am 5’3….needed a chair! Ridiculous. The air/heat unit was no more than 6 inches from the side of the bed, and the cords/wiring were laying on the floor at the foot of the bed. Totally a safety hazard for small children. The “sofa” in the living area appeared to be newish, but it was rock hard and very uncomfortable to sit on. Bathroom was not clean with huge black areas on the lower walls-not sure if it was mold or tar. There were dust bunnies and coins on the floor under the desk. Paint was splattered all over the hard surfaced floor, and our socks were black on the bottom-carpeting was gross. With so many hotel options, Comfort Inn/Suites will no longer get our business.
