The room was very clean, good breakfast and helpful front desk. The room was very clean. Front desk very friendly and helpful. They had a great breakfast and location was convenient. Close to plenty of restaurants. We enjoyed our short stay there. We will definitely stay there again for the price you can’t beat it.

4.5 stars for a 2 star Quick stop off interstate, drive until I got tired and then started looking for a place to stop. The exit north seemed a little sketchy, but this area seemed safer. Clean, appears to be updated, budget friendly option. Parking right outside my room. Room appearance was clean. Bed was comfortable. Noise level minimal being close to interstate. Breakfast was typically carby budget chain options. Water was hot. Towels were thin. Mini fridge and microwave in room. Plenty of usb charging outlets. I’d definitely stop here again

Layover from Dallas to Tennessee We make an annual trip from Dallas to Maryville, TN with the Harley on a trailer. We've found the drive straight through is just too much, so we need to stop. We've gone the Northern route and stayed at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis. But, it's an easier drive from the Southern route. The challenge is finding a place to stay that isn't too expensive, but is OK. Reading reviews eliminates most places because they are so bad (note: I do have different expectations for a Hotel than a Motel). Gadsen-Attalla didn't have much positive, but landed on the EconoLodge (a Choice property). They had bad reviews, BUT they said that they had renovated rooms. I called before booking and was told that we'd be put into a renovated room. That made me feel a better. We pull in to a rather empty motel. The lady to check in said that we had been assigned a room. At first looked like the room had been renovated. But, closer inspection: looked like our front door had been part of a police raid (big dent and the security bolt broken). The bathroom was dirty, the door wouldn't close (and the doorknob was broken). The remote for the TV barely worked. And the bed: they have metal bases that when you roll over sound like a bass drum was being beat (and the mattresses were really, really hard). Very disappointed that we were told that we were getting a renovated room -- if this was renovated, what are the rooms like that weren't. Only positive about this stay was the ease of parking the truck and trailer.

Skip this place Dirty, in need of a major overhaul. Non smoking room reeked of cigarettes, feeces on toilet lid, worn out sheets and broken shower head. This was just my room. My coworker had finger nail clippings in his bed and stated his bathroom was equally disgusting. Don't stay here, super nasty!

Room was nice. However, barking dogs were terrible! The room was nothing fancy; it was clean and smelled clean. We had booked it for two nights. However, the dogs barking all night was more than we could take. Oh, and some time in the night, someone tried to enter our room. Fortunately, my husband made sure that all the locks were locked. That was it.
