Highly Recommend! Always Clean! Great Hospitality! Addicting Warm Cookies!! This DoubleTree hotel we stayed at multiple times. As a Hilton member, this property always exceeds expectations!! It never disappoints. You are greeted with warm smiles and those delectable warm soft chewy cookies! They are so addicting! Yum! Rooms are always clean and most importantly the beds are so comfortable. Any requests the hotel staff is always eager to provide you with extra towels, pillows, etc. They have bar and good munchies. It’s nice to meet people staying from different parts of the world. Across the street there’s a Target and Publix along with multiple restaurants and fast food chains close by and walking distance! Convent location and definitely up to my high standards when it comes to a Hilton property hotel.

One thing after another Booked this hotel with family (16 total). Arrived at the hotel and they couldnt find our reservation, once I have them the confirmation number they said they found it and gave us a room. We had reserved a Queen deluxe with balcony, when we got to the room it was just a king bed which wouldn’t work for our family. I went back down to the front desk to get our room switched and they didn’t believe that I had booked a bigger room so I had to find my confirmation and show them. When we got to the new room (2nd floor) the balcony door would not lock and looked like it had been broke up. As we headed down to the pool and I told the front desk about the balcony door and they said “oh that’s an easy fix”. They never came to look at it. There were zero towels for the pool, when I asked for some they gave us 2 to share amongst my family. Pool was really dirty. Murky water and things floating in it. The bathroom was nasty. Had to take showers with flip flops on. Towels and pillows were dirty. Around 11pm our room phone rang and when I answered it a lady said some extremely vulgar words. It was not someone from my family pranking us, and when I woke to the front desk about it I was told “well there’s nothing we can do unless it was one of our team members and I don’t know why they would do that.” Upon check out I did talk to the front desk clerk, Gracie, I told her things that had happened and asked if I could speak to a manager, she went to the back and came back out with “answers” but no manager. My mother in law and I asked for receipts for our rooms because they had issues as well. The receipts that we were given had zero balances and didn’t say how much we were actually charged. Gracie said that’s all she could give us. Several times my mother in law would be talking to Gracie and Gracie would just walk away. We did discover that the reason they couldn’t find my reservation at check in was because they checked in the wrong families and mixed up rooms even though they ask for drivers license to verify.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE worst experience from the moment we arrived !! we called the day before to let them know we would be late and make sure our rooms were next to each other and the hotel even stated they would. we arrived the front desk rental man was eating dinner and annoyed we were there. our rooms were on the opposite side of the hotel on the second floor no carts to help bring in all they stuff and was offered to move in the morning to be close and I said we will have this available and the man said I don't know so how are you offering this? It was now 2 am and a day of travel there was MOLD in my daughters room all over with 2 small children is NOT OK Next day we went down the manager in the morning was very sorry and helped to move us, as noted we paid 4k for our stay even pending or not still a charge, we moved to 2 room across from each other and then was charged again for the rest of our stay so another pending charge of 3k. we went to the pool, the towels out there were all stained and gross and I had to clean and skim for the kids to swim inthe pool as the pool guy was sitting there watching me instead of doing it. I went inside and asked housekeeping if I could get some towels and she said no we are only allowed 2 towels per room so if you have more then 2 ppl in the room you better not think your getting a towel. the rooms floor was so dirty the kids would shower and walk on the carpet go back in bathroom with BLACK MARKINGS ALLL FROM THE DIRT, I went to speak to the GM Daniel Rutan about all this and the almost 8k of pending charges on my card , he was acknowledging all the problems like he was proud and laughed at it all. so unhelpful and unprofessional I have never .. This was a graduation weekend at the College UF and baseball games going on at the college and only 1 person at the front desk so you could never get help. The GM was more upset about the man eating at the desk when we checked in than anything else!! Later that night there was a dog barking for over 5 hrs as we were right next to the room so all we heard was barking and called front desk and went there and not til over 5 hrs was anything done , the next night there was such a huge fight win the other room next to use where a man and woman were fist fighting yelling screaming in the room and outside our doors we called the front desk and nothing I went to the desk and still nothing .. I have never seen so much disruption and unprofessional service in all areas .. we booked this trip 5 months in advanced wrote in comments and asked and was also offered by hotel I know nothing is guaranteed but I don't think I have ever traveled and not had our rooms at least next to each other , I have never been treated with laughter from a GM and yes I raised my voice as I was speaking to him after 10 min of him laughing and making excuses for all that had happened and the charges never ever and never agian !! AND THERE WERE NEVER COOKIES OFFERED .. NO STAFF NO SERVICE NOT CLEAN NOT WORTH THE MONEY

Needs some TLC Ehhh. Tired rooms. Noisy AC. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Would try elsewhere if back in the area. Near anything you could need as far as shopping or eating goes. Shower glass seals worn and leaky. Floor got SOAKED each time we showered. Carpet ripped and stained. Mirror rusted in bathroom. This place needs some attention.

I’d rather sleep in my car at a rest stop I didn’t sleep much for the two nights I stayed here. I was in room 111 and the noise was awful. When I asked to be moved to a room that would be quieter, I was told that they were sold out. From my room I could hear all the bar noises, and the second night there was a large group watching a sports event and yelling loudly until after midnight. The first night someone kept smoking outside my window and talking loudly. I’ve now learned my lesson about staying in first floor hotel rooms, and I won’t do that again, but it seems like the staff should have shut down the noise without anyone having to complain. I guess they were making money from the bar tabs. I tried using white noise on my phone. The shouts and hoots and hollers were louder. I checked out early and I’d rather sleep in my car at a rest stop than another night here. It would be quieter.
