Terrible experience. This is my first negative review that I’ve ever written. Let me start by saying that I had a reservation from August 4th-12th. While I was checking in, the front desk clerk (Michelle)was extremely rude. The person that relived her was even worse. I came down to ask about the WiFi code because what they gave me wasn’t working and they never answered phones. The guy-(don’t know his name) but he was a big guy with glasses. Kept telling me the code and it wouldn’t work. He literally rolled his eyes at me, made a tick sound with his mouth and a big sigh. Turns out they had spelled my name wrong. He was still very rude after finding out they had made the mistake. Before I went up I asked about my reservation I found out that it had been changed to check out on the 9th! They had already booked up and I was totally out of luck. They didn’t even apologize. They said they sent an email about the change and there was NO such email. I will say that the other employees were very nice. The pool was not working and Michelle said they put that it was closed on the website but they had not. I’m not sure why she would even say that. The hallways stunk so bad. Rooms were not cleaned while I was there 4th-9th. Had to get toilet paper, ice bucket and trash bag from the front desk. My room wasn’t bad, a little stinky. We ended up finding another hotel and lt was clean, smelled fresh and the staff were very nice. I’m so glad we ended our trip on such a positive note!

Extremely poor service Worst service. I have called every number found online and given to me by neighboring hotels. Not one time did any one answer. I have been calling about my reservation for over 48 hours multiple times an hour. Not one answer. Even the local hotels say that they never answer the phones and that guests cancel their reservations and stay elsewhere because of it. I am definitely going to do the same.

DO NOT STAY HERE - save yourself the aggravation We recently stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites Galveston Texas Beachfront. We were supposed to be there a week and we checked out after two days. We arrived to our room to find someone else's toiletries in the shower, the ottoman with multiple rips, and the drapes hanging from the rod. It was after 11:00 pm, we were exhausted from our flight and just wanted to sleep. The walls were paper thin. We listened to the people above us be intimate and very loud. The next morning we left and had baseball games to attend for our son in college. When we returned the hallways were full of garbage and towels and it was a Saturday night and very loud. Our lamp had bulbs burnt out, the bed lights had some sort of rust on them, and the ceiling tiles were all stained black with water damage. Sunday morning we left to get some food. The garbage had not been touched in 2 days, the elevator was disgusting, it had not been wiped down once and there was now food (nuggets and crumbs) on the floor. Upon returning we saw a used toilet next to the ice machine and that was my final straw. We checked out immediately without a place to stay but I refused to stay there any longer. They charged us for both nights, no discount, and said she understood why I wanted to leave but still charged us full price.

Stay somewhere else. Door was off hinges, toilet handle broke, cockroaches, ceiling caving in, supposed “hot tub” was freezing, banging on door/ random calls of silence, fire alarm went of every night, and the people were disrespectful and rude.

Never Again The room was a maintenance disaster. Sink would not drain, curtain was torn from the hangers, multiple visible wall patches. The entire Choice chain has a marked decline in recent years. Occasionally, I find a well managed property, but more and more, I find disappointment. Then, we went to breakfast.
