Don't Do it. Just Don't. I guess things could have been worse. But it was bad. Overall, this was just a really sad, uncomfortable, borderline unsafe experience. I was fooled by what I now think were fake reviews on another site and decided to stay here for one night with my husband and young son, as we passed through during holiday travels. We arrived late and the priority was to get the baby to bed with as few disruptions as possible. My husband completely unloaded the car (because the parking lot was very dark and there were people just kinda hanging out), while I got the baby into his PJs. The room was freezing, so I turned on the heat. For the first few hours, the heater would turn on, sounding like a jet engine and blowing lukewarm air. Around 3am my husband and I decided to just turn it off because it was impossible to sleep. And then we froze. The thin blanket was not nearly warm enough for a December night. At 7am I decided to give up on sleep and check out the free breakfast, thinking I would bring back a coffee and some food for my husband and baby. If I had seen the hotel in the daylight, I would not have stayed there. There was a gap between the sliding door and the outside, just letting in the cold air, bugs, and general detritus. The bathroom was filthy. Everything was gross, and definitely not somewhere I would want my child to be crawling around. The breakfast was a joke. There were signs posted everywhere warning that breakfast was ONLY to be eaten in the lobby, and NO FOOD was to be taken back to rooms. So much for my thought of bringing breakfast to my family. But it turned out both the coffee and juice machines were broken. The cereal was all junk (lots of sugar), and the eggs looked absolutely disgusting. I returned to the room empty handed and found a coffee shop one exit away. Ultimately, you get what you pay for. This hotel was sketchy, unclean, and generally disappointing. Don't make the same mistake we did.

Not a Quality stay So, I don't mind a basic hotel as long as it's clean and safe and the bathroom and beds are clean. This hotel is exactly that. Basic. I was not familiar with the area when I booked it, just needing a place to stay overnight while my daughter attended a horse show outside of town. I'm a Choice Hotels member, so I figured it would be ok. The hotel is likely not in a great part of town, and it shows. Kind of run down exterior, the halls smelled STRONGLY of cigarette smoke and the room doors were a little flimsy-feeling. Only one deadbolt lock option, which didn't instill confidence. The climate controls worked but were musty smelling, but the bathroom and beds were clean. The kicker was upon check in I was required to put down a deposit of $100 against room damages. If I put the deposit in cash, I'd get it back on checkout, but if I used my card, it would be 3-5 days to get the money. Conveniently, there was an ATM in the lobby with a $3 charge to take out the cash. Of course. Checking out took longer than I expected because the clerk had to run up to the room to inspect it for damage before I'd get my $100 back and could go. Staff was friendly enough. We did not try the free breakfast (mostly because we didn't have time to sit and eat once we went through the checkout process, and there were signs posted all over the lobby that food could not be removed from the hotel). I really cannot recommend this hotel, unless you are used to having to put down cash deposits and don't mind the sound of sirens and people running up and down the halls blasting their TVs all night.

Concert night gone gross. This hotel is gross. Filthy carpet in the room. The linens were dirty. The pillows had what looked to be blood stains. The front desk agent was not friendly. We left approx. 30minutes after Checking in. I'm very disappointed in this choice hotel independent hotel. Absolutely will not recommend this to anyone.

Welfare hotel In case you’re not familiar with the term welfare hotel, that is when people without homes are housed by the government in certain hotels. We pulled off the highway to get a few hours sleep before continuing north. It was 1 am on a Tuesday and the place was hopping. People drinking on balconies, a domestic dispute in parking lot, and another guy was rapping his bloody arm on the curb. We noticed this after booking a room. We thought we could stick it out 4 hours but when we got to the room, there was feces smeared on the bathroom wall, roaches crawling on wall, and stains on the carpet (use your imagination). We immediately checked out. The girl at the counter was nice and immediately issued a refund. I know these people have to be housed but the hotel should be closed to everyone else.

NO NO NO Although employees good. Facilities horrible. If I wasn't so tired I would have exited this place fast. Housekeeping doesn't do there job. This place needs major renovations. I would not recommend this place for anyone.
