Was given a room with a young woman already occupying it then was denied a refund and lied to This is a dangerous place to stay. I arrived to Quality Inn & Suites in Georgetown SC and saw that our room did not have a door that closed to the bathroom, had mold in the shower, and the bath would not drain. I went to the front desk and asked if these problems were common and if they had any other rooms with a working shower. I was advised by Ms. Dory that this was a common complaint and that she was not sure if any of the rooms were in working order. I explained that I would like a refund since they could not provide a clean place for me to sleep or shower. She offered me another room and told me that if that room wasn't better then there would be nothing else she could do. I went over to the new room and unlocked the door only to frighten the woman who was already occupying that room. It was late at night and that could have been a very dangerous situation for either of us. I went back and told Ms. Dory about what had happened and she did not apologize or offer any type of solution. I explained that I no longer felt safe here and needed my money back. She said I needed to come in the next morning to speak to the Manager, Harry. I got a different hotel that night and the next morning I drove all the way back to the hotel (Ms. Dory told me that I could not call and had to speak to Harry in person) only to find that Harry would not be in that day. The lady at the front desk gave me a post-it note to write my concerns on and assured me that Harry would call me immediately to resolve the issue. I still have not received a phone call and the money has not been refunded. Quality Inn put my safety in danger and could not provide me a clean private room to sleep in. They have lied to repeatedly about calling me back and refunding my money.

Noisy, dirty, scary and more! Perhaps the worst hotel stay of my life. The room was smoky smelling when we entered. I found the smoke detector in a plastic bag on the shelf, and a hole in the wall where it use to be. The floor was dirty with some kind of black flakes (and regular dirt). The HVAC unit has mysterious plastic 'items' (medical? i pray) visible inside it. The clerk reluctantly relocated us to another room. We were awakened after midnight by screams from another room. It persisted for half an hour - I think/hope it was consensual. The parking area was scary. I relocate our car up front near the highway.

Terrible Place Hotel was terrible. Took my money after reservation, made me purchase another room even though reservation was still active, stopped all contact for dispute. This place really wants to make your life as hard as possible and take your money. Room also had cockroaches. Front desk staff was the only highlight. Highly do not recommend, go anywhere else and your experience will be better.

Noisy It's the third time I've stayed here. Last night of this morning I should say from 3:00 to 6:30 somebody was banging on the door trying to get back in they must have locked themselves out. All night long then it would stop for 30 minutes and then start all over again. The hotel's pretty run down the rooms are clean. It's definitely an older model hotel. But the price is cheap the beds are hard as a rock. And until after season I'll have to still stay here.

Terrible experience! This motel was disgusting. It was under remodeling which wasn’t revealed when we made reservations trough Expedia. The lobby and dining room looked okay but the outside of many rooms were awful! Nasty colored paint on several doors, dust everywhere, rusted rails and steps, construction dumpsters full of trash in parking lot as well as several toilets sitting in parking lot. Very noisy! We couldn’t leave because we had already made reservations. We had to move to another room after two nights because of the noise from a huge construction project going on next door. The front view from second room was nice but we had to park and climb nasty stairs and see all the dumpsters and toilets while going to our room. Thi motel should be closed until they finish their work. I have given a review to Expedia and Choice Hotels but nothing has happened yet.
