Super Hotel The staff at this hotel where very polite and nice and also very helpful, we had breakfast every day and the buffet was great with a good choice and the waitress was very polite and sorted out out teas and coffee very quickly. We also eat here on two nights and the food was fantastic. The rooms were good with nice views of the sea to Spain and Africa with a good sized balcony and an ice bathroom with a great shower. The pool area is great nice sized pool and you can get beer and cocktails from the bar and the barman was very nice and polite. A great hotel we had a nice 5 day holiday and we will be back again.

Great 1st visit Had a brilliant time , 1st time in Gibraltar and a lot of history in the hotel Fantastic breakfast , great service by all the staff Pool a short walk across the road but serves great cocktails __ Great view from the room looking out to the sea On a hill so would recommend a taxi back to the hotel if doing a lot of shopping _

Good for a short stay Booked a sea view room with balcony, well worth it as clear view across to Spain and all the way to North Africa and which looks as if it’s in touching distance. Room appeared to be newly decorated, very clean with comfortable bed but rock hard pillows. Bathroom was well appointed with excellent walk in shower and plenty of toiletries. Preponderance of sweet treats at breakfast, large fruit selection and usual continental cheeses and cold meats. Hot breakfast available and 5* for offering fabulous British back bacon, not the usual strips of greasy streaky “turkey” bacon - though disappointingly cereal was limited to a couple of boxes of Kelloggs corn flakes. We joined family one afternoon for cocktails and drinks on the terrace - absolutely first class service and best Pimms I’ve ever had. Drawbacks: Gibraltar is hilly and The Rock Hotel is mid-way up a steep road, with steep incline to hotel front door plus steep steps to reception then further steps to main area and lifts. Also, we did spend quite a bit of time across the road in the garden/pool area. Frankly this needs a good upgrade as really looking very run down. The staff behind the kiosk as lovely though and so helpful.

The Rock - where else to stay on The Rock? Very nice and elegant hotel with room to relax. No surprise the rich, famous and rozalty stayed here over the decades. Perfectly located with perfect view of the harbour, close in walking distance to the old town and fortifications , the cable car station to the Top of The Rock.

Fantastic hotel Fantastic service from the moment we stepped out of our taxi. Reception so helpful as we arrived with our luggage missing so they even found us some sun lotion until ours arrived later. Have to mention Catherine so nice to my son kept him entertained whilst checking in. But everyone was so brilliant the room was perfect with great views. Breakfast well been to many hotels and this has to be the best choice with amazing pastries and cakes! And good tea and coffee. The pool area is great and facilities, bar and snacks excellent service too. Thanks to everyone can’t wait to return.
