Old and tired Don’t be fooled as we were , thinking we booked Leonardo hotel Glasgow, this is a sister hotel, about 20 minutes in a cab costing nearly £20. This hotel is too far out of Glasgow city centre , having 2 hotels with the same name throws people off , if you don’t know Glasgow , taxi drivers say this is a common occurrence The beds are like concrete, old buttons poking through the mattress, it’s old and tired , the safe, door keys and shower are in need of attention , only plus side is the staff , they are lovely x

I love brutalist buildings but this hotel is so run down I love brutalist buildings and thought this Leonardo, former Jurys Inn would be a pleasant stay and booked with Expedia as the perk was a bottle of wine included as a perk . This hotel downgraded my king room reservation to a standard twin room on the excuse that they had none available and ready as had pre checked in for a midday arrival on the 27 th of January 2024 . In the past this would have been a nice hotel but room 218 was worse than the best Britannia hotel chain room to compare my room with as Jurys Inn Leonardo hotels are supposed to be a comfortable luxury brand hotel . The room was so bad that Expedia gave me a goodwill voucher of £15 for the really dangerous, worn out hotel room I stayed the night in . Only perk was a bottle of white wine I’d value at £2-99 from a supermarket. In the room that I was downgraded too was two very small beds and worn out carpet, pictures with broken glass in it and lampshades with holes in it and dangerous electrical sockets and a very old flat screen television. Bathroom was extremely old and shower faucets showed damage there . Unfriendly staff and lots of old people as guests added to the gloomy atmosphere. This hotel is a let down in the Leonardo brand which has a reputation of luxury and comfort. This once was a nice hotel but is now a let down

Great value and comfortable but ready for a renovation Great value and comfortable clean room Bed comfortable and had a great night sleep. Room is a little tired and could do with an update ( issues with shower taps / curtain hooks off). Reception staff excellent and vey friendly / helpful Great value for money and would stay again for practicality. Handy BP petrol station / M & S food store right next door.

Cheap and cheerful! The Leonardo Inn needs to put some money into this hotel. Overall everything is fine but when you look closely, you can see the flaws. During my stay (January 2023), the bar manager was offering a free drink for people to write a good review. All 5 star reviews left at this time should be taken with a pinch of salt. It seems that this has stopped reading the reviews since then. Saying that, its a great hotel for a cheap and cheerful visit. Staff were very friendly and the bar/restaurant area is very nice. Great location too! If you are only planning to use it to rest your head at night, you absolutely cannot go wrong!
