Disgusting and Untamed GHETTO!! I initially made a complaint with the BBB but I’ll be making a complaint with the health department and the CEO. I refuse not to be heard. From the customer service, to the housekeeping and the hotel overall, they need to be investigated and there needs to be a 360 of this hotel, especially the current workers. If the higher power knew how their establishments are ran, they should be ashamed of their selves. I am currently putting in a complaint with everyone that can solve the problem of how despicable this motel is being ran. I’m going to also get the local news station involved because this is ridiculous and I need to be heard immediately.

DISGUSTING and UNSAFE DISGUSTING. Homeless people all over property. Rooms are nasty. DO NOT STAY HERE. Stayed one night (unfortunately, but it was too late to go elsewhere) and tried to get refund for the 2nd night. They refused and were extremely rude. This hotel is UNSAFE.

It was everythng I needed. All I wanted was a night of restful sleep...and I got it. I expected clean and it was super squeaky clean. I wanted a comfy bed ....and I had one. I need to warm it up a bit to suit my taste and the HVAC worked perfectly. Everything in the bathroom was in good shape and functioned perfectly in the morning. The price was right too. Thanks Motel 6.

WAS NOT ALLOWED TO STAY AT THIS MOTEL EVEN THOUGHT I HAD BOOKED - BUT THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD ANYWAY - NEVER AGAIN! • I ARRIVED AFTER 30 HOURS OF TRAVELLING FROM THE UK - THE MOTEL 6 HAD NO RECORD OF MY BOOKING FROM BOOKING.COM. I ASKED IF I COULD BOOK IN AND THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME AROUND US$ 200.00 OVER MY ORIGINAL COST, I SAID CAN I STAY JUST ONE NIGHT, AS I WAS EXHAUSTED? THE GUY SAID OKAY BUT ALL MY CREDIT CARDS WERE DECLINED. I ASKED IF I COULD PAY WITH CASH AND THIS WAS REFUSED. I HAD NO CELL RECEPTION AS MY PHONE PROVIDER HAD NOT CLICKED OVER TO AT&T. SO I ASKED IF I COULD SLEEP IN MY CAR IN THE CAR PARK AND UNDERSTANDABLY WAS TOLD, NO. I WAS TRAVELLING TO MILWAUKEE FOR A FUNERAL OF MY FRIEND AND THE ONLY THING I HAD WAS AN ADDRESS FOR MY FRIENDS DAUGHTER ON MY INVITATION, WHO I HAD NEVER MET. THEREFORE I HAD TO DRIVE TO WAUWATOSA AND TURN UP ON THIS WONDERFUL WOMAN'S DOOR STEP, THANK GOD SHE LET ME STAY. NEXT DAY MIRACULOUSLY MY CREDIT CARD WAS CHARGED OVER US$126 - I WAS SO ANGRY, MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY HAD BLOCK MY CARD - I AM STILL TRYING TO GET MY MONEY BACK. SO THANK YOU, FOR NOTHING.

WARNING! DO NOT STAY HERE! 1) called morning of reservation to ask for early check-in, they said yes. 2) arrive at 2:15pm (regular check-in time is 3pm) denied early check-in stating there are no clean rooms. NONE?! 45 minutes before people are expecting to check in!? Several workers sitting around doing nothing. 3) also when trying to check-in it took several minutes to "find" the reservation (2 rooms, 4 adults). When found, they said the rooms are guaranteed as they were booked and pre-paid on Expedia. 4) waited until 3pm to check-in. Still no rooms. Had to leave to go to an event. Forced to re-pack car and take everything with us. Assured that the rooms would be saved for us. 5) called motel around 5pm to make sure there would be rooms for us. They said yes and said it would be 202 and 203. 6) after event, arrive at motel around midnight to check-in. Again took several minutes and repeating the name on the reservation over and over. Told there are no reservations. Explained the previous actions and eventually got 2 rooms. 7) one room was occupied when trying to unlock door. Went back to front desk to tell him the room had someone in it. From this point forward the one staff person physically went to each room before giving keys to guests. 8) the key to the other room (our friends who we traveled with) stopped working after one time, their stuff locked in the room and unable to get in. They had to get a replacement. The way the place is run, I was afraid they had someone with a key robbing rooms. 9) the hallway carpet is absolutely disgusting. 10) the room looked and smelled generally clean, but it wasn't. Sticky floors, stains on the bedspread, see photos. Meager furnishings. One pillow on a queen size bed about an inch thick. 11) many repairs needed. Appears the door has been broken into into previously. Door doesn't meet up with the door frame.. appears to have water damage. Positives: air conditioning was cold as ice. Good water pressure in the sink, hot and cold. I didn't trust the shower so I didn't use it. This whole experience wasn't just frustrating, it was weird and puzzling. There were people milling around in the parking lot and front lobby. Our friends were harassed in the parking lot while waiting for us to check out. When there were "no rooms available" at check in, the workers were loitering around doing nothing while rooms apparently needed to be cleaned. Sitting in the front entrance area complaining loudly. Our assessment of the operation is that the people working there are selling rooms for cash and pocketing it when there are unrelated rooms, then no one knows what rooms are actually occupied or not. Also, renting out rooms by the hour when people haven't checked in yet. If I could give zero stars I would. Additionally, these rooms were $200... yes TWO HUNDRED dollars. The website says this motel is $60 a night. There was a big concert at Am Fam Field, so the price was obviously jacked up. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN AND WILL TELL OTHERS NO TO. This has also affected my opinion of Motel 6 as a complete franchise. Be better.
