Black cherry facial Booked the black cherry spa experience which was very good value for money. Arrived at 9am, greeted by pleasant staff member. The spa is small but was very clean, it was quiet when I first arrived, spent some relaxing time in the spa and then had my treatment with the therapist Dottie, I have had some amazing facials at some 5 star hotels and I must say this facial was fantastic. Thank you Dottie.

Used to be nice but is terrible now Stayed the weekend of the 7th June with my partner. I'd requested a accessible room by phonecall, prior to our stay. We arrived to reception to be told we had been allocated a room up a flight of stairs. I again asked for an accessible room and was told Room118 was accessible, it was up 6 steps but they had a accessible platform but only 1 key for it, so the staff had to lower it !!. Room 118 was small and dark the window opened up to a solid brick wall, the rooms are dated and look and feel old, the accessible room wasn't that accessible, you couldn't get a wheelchair around the room and there were no hand rails in the bathroom, the toilet was normal and not accessible as the toilet holder was in the way !! The bath had no non slip bath mat or any grab handles at all. There is quite a deep lip to the bath and elderly or infirm people would struggle to safely have a bath or shower. The blinds were dusty and broken and there was a deep layer of dust on the tv. The cushions and throws on the bed smelt feisty and there were stains on the bedding. We reported all of this and nothing was done as we were told its the only accessible room. This whole experience for a £111 room in what I always thought was a nice hotel. They really need to look at how they treat disabled guests !! When getting in the platform to go down to reception you had to call a member of staff to put the the key in, in order for the platform to work. This is ridiculous and any independence that you have is taken away by having to ask staff to put the key in to move the platform. On one occasion I was waiting 12 minutes before staff were availible to help. Breakfast service is equally appalling, I went down at 9am to find many items empty, beans, fried eggs, scrambled eggs etc. I waited 10 mins for them to be replenished and they weren't despite the staff saying the chef was on with it. The only milk you could use was the milk for tea and coffee which was unrefrigiated. You could only have tea or coffee with your breakfast dispensed from metal jugs. No choice to have other coffees like cuppacino or mocha or exspresso. The breakfast was £14 and I complained and got it refunded. This hotel promised so much but I will not be staying here again as its out dated and tired looking, customer service is lacking and I didn't feel safe as a disabled guest on the premises. Do yourself a favour and book with the Premier Inn in Cleckheaton.

Comfortable stay When I booked I was advised no twin rooms were available so I chose a double room, The double room was very dated and dark. I mentioned this to the young man at the reception who gave us a lovely twin room. I must compliment Mackenzie who was very professional and helpful he is a credit to the team. We had a lovely stay.

Nice spa afternoon We visited here for the day for the spa. There must have been less than 10 of us there so not crowded and we managed to spend time in sauna, steam room and outdoor hot tub whenever we wanted. We have been before and it was much busier which meant at times you had to wait a bit. We did the mud rasul treatment, very relaxing! Afternoon tea was also really nice. Staff all friendly and helpful!

Amelia was a little superstar, service with a smile _ Very, very busy but beautiful sat outside in the sunshine on the terrace, absolutely stunning. Food was a bit dry but that was due to the heat I think. Amelia was so professional and helpful. She was rushed off her feet due to staff shortages, she defo needed help but did everything herself with a smile. We got that, however some of the guests weren’t as understanding, there are some very spoiled, demanding ladies out there, just plain rude if you ask me. Value for money but need more staff at busy periods. Well done Amelia for making our afternoon tea amazing! __
