Excellent Service, Amenities, and Staff We stayed here over the weekend for a large, last minute family gathering. From the very beginning, from organizing to adapting, the staff at the Clarion were so accommodating. The rooms were exceptionally clean (always a priority of mine) and comfortable. The manager, Tracey, took the time to help us get everything organized and even helped up find an additional meeting space after we got there. Mikayla at the front desk was helpful during check-in helping us to facilitate room assignments near each other. And Glenda kept the breakfast area nice and clean every day. There was always a variety of choices for all of the dietary needs of our large family. There was a power outage in the area, but the hotel generator had plenty of lighting so we were not left completely in the dark. There was even enough light in the atrium that we did not notice when the power came back on at first. The staff was circulating the hotel keeping guests informed on the status of the outage and asking if we needed anything to make us more comfortable. The atrium gathering area was great for our family to congregate in so we were not all trying to cram in each other's rooms. There were plenty of seating areas for various groups to visit in. Overall, we had a great visit and will be staying here again if we are ever back in Junction!

Gave the Clarion a chance Not sure why this hotel reviews are so good. Hotels in Grand Junction can be ridiculously expensive and the hotel I usually stay at was sold out. The Clarion had good reviews and the price was right. Checkin was quick, the young lady who helped me was friendly and professional. My travel mate is in a wheelchair so we reserved an accessible room with two double beds. The room we were given, 1082 is way too small for a wheelchair to turn around. There is a comfortable side chair in the far corner but the pathway is way too narrow for a disabled person to use, so they are basically limited to the area by the first bed. The bathroom is extremely small. The wheelchair only fit if it were pushed into the shower area. The room seemed clean, but the bath could use a good scrub down. Even with the lower price I would probably not consider staying here again.

ok If you dont have to go dont When you go you have to pay an extra $ 50 for something for incidentials but after a week they still dont give it back when they say they will after checking the room you stayed in. I would say that they lie since I know for a fact that I left the room really clean and because only slept there and left early

No Bar Restaurant Booked this place because it advertised a bar/restaurant amenity. It DOES NOT have either. Very disappointed. Otherwise everything is nice but because of above, I have to rate “average.” Check in staff nice but unconcerned about our disappointment.

We’ve stayed here for several years, but we won’t be staying here again It’s always disappointing when your go to motel takes a change for the worse. We’ve been noticing the decline over the past 2-3 years, but it has finally reached a point of no return for us. The motel is exterminated for bed bugs in a few rooms. I’m a hotel manager, I understand bed bugs, but the least you could do is close the curtains so we don’t have to see it! I checked our room, it was clear, but nonetheless, the visibility of the issue made me nervous. Breakfast includes undressed patrons with no shoes and no shirts. It was repulsive. We thought the attendant collecting tickets and refilling the breakfast might say something… NOPE! When we mentioned it they told us they cannot enforce it. Really? Well I bet the health department would love to know you won’t enforce this common sense rule. The place feels dirty, the customer service has gone from excellent to non existent. And again, I’ve spent well over a dozen stays at this Inn. I’ll go somewhere that enforces food safety laws and takes pride in cleanliness and customer service. I can guarantee there’s been an ownership change or management change in recent years. It’s not a good one!
