Beware of your room selection and options I had reserved a Luxury 1 bedroom suite that was confirmed by Hilton. When I arrived at 6pm, I was informed that my room had been given away and then came the "behind the desk scrambled." Looking at the computer, back to the supervisor's office, back to the screen, etc. Finally, the supervisor brings out a book of floorplans to show me that the only room they had was just as good as what I had reserved. Upon entering the room, I was sorely disappointed with the design and makeup of the room. It was a room for disabled people with a bed in the living room and an h/p bathroom upon entering plus a single bedroom at the back. Neither sink for either bathroom were inside but outside the bathrooms. The bathroom for disabled people with no lip at the shower edge wasn't working appropriately and the water flooded the remainder of the bathroom. The maintenance man arrived, immediately knew what the problem was and told us that they had implored the front desk not to give out this room because of that problem. They informed me that there were no other options at the time. There was only a couch with mismatched cushions and a small round table with 2 wooden chairs. The living room TV was across from the living room bed. NOT a Luxury 1 bedroom suite at all.

EXCESSIVE FEES AND NOW $20 A NIGHT PARKING! This place always figures out a way to get money! Now they are charging $20 a night for parking. Such a shame! There are so many more options that don't have a problem providing parking for their guests, especially when we spend nice money on rooms per night, amenities, food, resort fees and even $100 a night deposit! If you are going to charge Hilton parking fees at least make upgrades. Make them your last choice.

Our Kids’ Favorite If you go here, you’re going to drop some money—likely more than you were expecting. There are cost savings but convenience & in-the-moment purchases are certainly a-plenty. The buffet was about $30 for adults & $20 for kids with pricing being not much different during breakfast. The spread for each meal was pretty decent, with plenty to choose from—they even had chicken nuggets available for breakfast. The other food options in the resort were a little more reasonable but still on the pricey side. I’d recommend bringing an ice chest/groceries for some meals, going off the resort (In N Out Burger, for sure), or Uber Eats to the lobby. As with any type of destination like this, it gets extremely busy. You’ll need to balance your time in the water park & set your expectations that there will be people everywhere. If you go in the morning, it’s a little better. The parking lot is massive but still very difficult to find a parking spot; if you leave, be prepared to find a parking spot even farther out than you originally found. The rooms are nice, we didn’t have any complaints. The kids really enjoyed the cabin room with the bunk beds. The bathroom has a wire that can be pulled across the bathtub to hang wet swimsuits on to dry. The waterpark was obviously the kids’ favorite. Two areas for kids, the wave pool, & lazy river were where we hung around the most. The slides had too long of lines & were a little too big for our young kids. We enjoyed the gemstone mining, too. We didn’t participate in MagiQuest but it looked really cool.

Great Wolf Lodge - Don't Let the Reviews Worry You! We just returned from a fantastic trip to Great Wolf Lodge! After reading some mixed reviews, I was a little apprehensive, but our experience was overwhelmingly positive. The staff throughout the entire resort – from the lobby to the water park, MagiQuest, and laser tag – were incredibly friendly and helpful. While our room was a bit dated, it was spacious and comfortable. Overall, we had an absolute blast and would definitely recommend it!
