Great base in Graz The Weitzer is a lovely old hotel with a great restaurant in a fabulous location. It was very hot in Graz during our stay. Fortunately the hotel air conditioning was very effective.
The Steirer restaurant serves a very high quality Styrian menu with a very good drinks selection. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the wine list is varied.
I can highly recommend the Weitzer for a break in Graz

Great hotel Large and comfortable room. AC worked well as it was very hot outside. Room quiet with blackout curtains. Good bed.
Only minor criticism, shower went hot and cold.
Staff were very polite and accommodating.
As for location, excellent. Short walk to old town, Saturday market, Murinsel Café and access to the Skybar.
Graz itself is very tranquil place and was a nice surprise. Fab architecture, restaurants etc.
Would definitely stay again.

We love it, and we will be back again The hotel is close to everything, just take the tram from the train station and you are there in a few minutes. Rooms are clean and quiet and breakfast is wonderful. One thing that suprised this year was that they allowed dogs in the breakfast room. This was the second stay at the hotel, this time I was happy to do it with my wife. We will definitely be back again in Graz, and the hotel will be Weitzer Graz, no discussion.

very confortable Only one remark: pillows are too fluffy
For any other thing it was wonderful. Hotel is in a good position for walking to the center and, in case of rain, umbrellas are available at the exit door for all clients.

Poor welcome The location is very nice and the hotel is in a renovation proces. The welcome at the reception was very poor and a long que in the morning didn't help at all. Very complicated parking system in the parking garage next door and overrated charging costs for a hybrid vehicle.
