Best night of sleep, Friday Night Karaoke, and great location The hotel is right up next to the marina, so its really pretty if you are lucky enough to have that view, which we did. The bed was really fluffy and comfortable, as were the pillows. The bathroom was spacious with a large vanity. We had the king size room, so we also had a desk and chair and a large comfy chair also. Friday at the hotel bar, they had karaoke (and the woman that ran it was incredible!!!!) and we danced and sang all night. The lobby has three couches with chairs which is nice to chill out and hang out at. The staff was excellent and I loved that they handed us two waters right at check in. There is a parking deck (with elevator) right next door, so it was super convenient. The location of the hotel was close to the Virginia Air and space museum, which I highly recommend. Every hour is a nother IMAX movie there and its a quick walk from the hotel. Also the Baked bistro is just one block away for breakfast. My only disappointment was the hotel breakfast buffet. The selection was great and there was a ton of food, and the blueberry muffins were fantastic, but the breakfast potatoes were not fully cooked and the bacon also seemed to have needed a bit more time (and french toast was a little soggy). But, the service was excellent. The staff at the Hotel is really top-notch and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that i got a daily text message from hotel asking about my stay. I still gave them a five star review because it made our (group of 24) stay incredible. I would definitely go back there!!! Also, its a quick drive to Williamsburg, VA (which also has incredible restaurants and shopping).

Trip to see about relocating When I seen the reviews after we had booked the hotel I thought oh my god what am I going to !! The hotel was perfect clean , friendly, Breakfast was nice Our room was spotless and had maids every day. I used the pool in the day time clean and peaceful. Yes they do have pool party’s only at weekend and we arrived on Sunday night as one was ending Was ok no loud partying and people friendly as they were getting ready to leave and did not affect our night night Over all would definitely book here again

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT STAYING HERE! Disgusting and unsafe! The room was DISGUSTING. Hair and dust everywhere, remnants of what looked like bugs on linens and bathroom vanity. Even the front desk was filthy with dead flies and a layer of dust on the computers. Creepy looking patrons walking around, did not feel we would be safe walking around at night. There was no key needed to use the elevator, so we suspected night time would be a nightmare in the hallways. The phone in the room did not work. There was a "foam party" at the pool, foam was pouring over the roof of the hotel onto street below, staining our car. Why was there a gigantic bouncer at the pool entrance with a wand scanning people?! Hotel stunk of weed. Parking garage was sketchy at best, and we were charged $12 to park yet the garage was completely open for anyone to enter/exit for free. We felt very unsafe on the property. We requested a refund immediately after checking in (I suspect I will end up fighting for my money back because I have no faith they actually credited me) and moved to a different hotel. Staff did not even ask to see the 30 photos I took of the room filth. I am sure they just turned it over to the next unsuspecting guest. This place should be shut down.

Don’t waste your money, there are nicer hotels for less money We stayed for our son’s graduation from Fort Eustis. We wanted somewhere nice with things close to the hotel. We scored on things close to the hotel but for the price, this hotel was not worth it. Our first rooms the air conditioners were not working (yes in two rooms neither of the ACs worked) they switched our rooms but it took an hour out of our day waiting to see what was going to happen). Prior to moving rooms, I looked around the rooms. The ceilings in the bathroom were screwed in panels that were falling out. Their painter had pained over light switches, and the bathroom doors didn’t close (there was a good inch gap). Ok so we are getting a new room, these will be better, NOPE. The AC kinda worked, we had them set to the lowest setting because we were sweating in our sleep, it never got below 68 (which is what we have our ac at our house on, I didn’t have covered and was sweating. The ac in our second room made an awful noice when it turned on. We chose to stay an extra day to tour Williamsburg but switched hotels to a different Hilton and it is perfect for what we are doing. The ac keep me cool UNDER blankets and it was clean and tidy, unlike the landings.

Time for Refresh and Change!! This hotel has been a favorite for us in past. Maybe, it has beennot during a holiday time. Here are the glows, location is great to many things and the view from the room is amazing. The staff was friendly but overwhelmed with too many guests and issues from the July 4thholiday. The second floor pool and party needs to be revisited. The outside guests took over the hotel and safety became a concern for many paid guests. Outside guests filled up the parking lot and never moved for the paid guests. The hotel will need to investigate this area. The bar area had way too many people and too loud. The workers could not handle the traffic. The lobby bathrooms were messed up with overflowing of water and no soap. Outside guests would steal from the snack area big time and the front desk people could not see it. Trying to park to check in and more became a huge problem with paid guests. We are willing to return because we have had positive experiences there. As a Tapestry hotel, it is time to bump up the quality, safety, experience and more. This hotel should not be a party hotel for city residents.
