Motel 6 Harlingen, TX

Extremely pleased This has been a great, safe, quiet place to stay for a week. The employees were professional and very accommodating. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. I will definitely stay here and recommend to my friends and family when they come to visit.

Stayed here multiple times Clean and best value in town. Have laundry. My experiences with Motel 6 have varied significantly but this is definitely one of the best I have been to. Thanks and will be back again the next time I am in town.

Stayed 4 nights . . . that was 4 nights too long!! We were scheduled to stay 6 nights at this Motel 6; but after 3 nights, we decided to pay extra to move to another hotel. I booked a smoking room with 2 full beds on their Motel 6 website. When we arrived, I was informed that the hotel was completely non-smoking, and the webpage needs to be corrected. No big deal. What was a big deal was the room door that squeaked horribly, and the air vent that rattled all night long. My husband sprayed the hinges with WD-40 & rigged the vent cover with painter's tape to stop the rattle. The hotel has a guest laundry on the 2nd floor, with one washer & one dryer. Both machines were filthy, and located in a room with no AC . . . horribly hot! The dryer didn't completely dry the clothes after two runs, so I ended up complaining at the front desk. The Manager let me use one of their commercial dryers, which was half falling apart. Other issues include no mattress pads on the mattresses (ewww), and a very moldy/mildewed shower curtain. We've stayed at several Motel 6 locations in our travels . . . this one is probably the worst so far!

Go elsewhere Description says air conditioning, blow dryers, and microwave- be warned there is no heat or blow dryers and microwave is community shared in lobby. Coffee is only out from 6:30-9:30 and there are no teas or decaf. Shower water pressure was a drizzle and curtain had slim from previous guest. This is cheap and bare bones. If you just need a room For a short night and a bed to sleep in then this is your place.

Passing thru with 3kids Got there everything was fine was so tired just got in at 1230 am the room with the kids and they fell asleep when I wake up I realize what type of room I’m in BLOOD STAINS on the pillows,smoke detector covered by toilet paper, STAINS ON WALLS so I go down and told them and the lady in front says what you want me to do if your checking out already I said just letting y’all know for next time to clean a little better for the next person and she just rolled her eyes....NEVER AGAIN
