BURN IT DOWN, AND START OVER!!! I think this place has potential. First problem is the staff. Second problem is the rooms, but I will say that I seen new furniture being delivered. And lastly, price fairness. The problem with the staff is they told me I would have buy extra toilet paper. Never went to a hotel that said that. So I guess they must be taking boxes of toilet paper home or selling the toilet paper on Amazon. But if a hotel is cutting back on essentials then that hotel should cut back on the price. Give the customer what they pay for or a discounted price.

Fire that front desk girl! Previous message on November 14: Good afternoon, I am a controller for a construction company here in New Orleans, and I handle all bookings for our company for employees working in the area. I had a very unpleasant experience with the front desk girl at the Harvey location today when I called in to make sure one of our employees was checked in properly. The said employee was denied entry to his room. I booked a new hotel reservation for him on Hotels.com and the reservation was fully paid for. When I called in to check on the issue at 2:51PM on November 14, 2019, the front desk agent (who I do not know the name) answered the phone. After telling her I was calling to check on a hotel reservation for Devon Bailey, she told me the "card needs to be punched in, in order for the system to confirm his reservation". I was quite confused and told her, "I'm sorry, I have no idea what you are talking about". She proceeds to tell me, "Oh, you know exactly what I'm talking about". Her tone was unacceptable. Still not understanding what she was talking about, I asked her to clarify. She told me the hotel just switched to a new system and requires the full 16-digit card number used to book the hotel to be punched in or the physical card has to be on site to viewed. This is the first time I have heard of this, so I explained to her that it was booked under hotels.com, so nothing else should be required. After much debate, I finally gave in to her demands and asked her if I can provide her the card information over the phone since I was the one making the reservation. She then turns to the computer and began the check in process again without taking down my 16 digit card number and was able to run the reservation through. Without any apologies for the confusion she had caused and turning my guest away, she ended the call. I'm very disappointed in the way she handled what happened. One, my employee was turned away and refused entry to his room (which we had also booked prior on Hotels.com) and 2. the attitude she had when handling my inquiries was unacceptable for a service industry staff. I am writing to let you know the type of staff you are employing and an opportunity to make any changes necessary to help your business grow. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Another update today on November 21. For the sake of convenience, I rebooked the same hotel for onother 7 nights and his room was extended for another 7 nights so that he does not have to move all his things to another hotel. The same front desk girl locked my guy out of his room and he called us again. I called the hotel and she told me he's been put in his room and when I asked why there is always issues with him, she hung up on me. I called again to request to speak with the manager, she asked me rudely, ''why?!" and told me that there's no manager in today. I don't know how if it is accurate. She did give me an email address for the manager but I don't know how true that is. Again, same attitude and issues and the hotel made no attempt to contact me regarding the previous email.
