Never again!! So first, the positives of staying at this hotel. One, it is close to Hershey Park and all the Hershey related activities. Two, the gentleman who checked us in and out was very friendly. That is it. When we pulled in the parking lot, there were only two other cars in the entire lot (ok, maybe one more positive, the parking lot had recently been resealed and striped and looked very nice). As we approached the front door, we noticed that the previous business signs had just been covered up, but thought that this is just temporary if someone has just purchased this business. It was a bit disconcerting that there were only a couple of cars in the lot besides ours. Also, approaching the front door, there was a doorway along the side of the building which was standing partially open, no lights on inside, and junk falling out of the doorway. Once we entered the building, it was quickly apparent that this hotel was in trouble. Everything was unkept and the lobby was very hot. To the left was the dining room, which was packed with tables and chairs (nothing like the spacious dining room in the pictures). There was a sign that said because of COVID, there was only a limited, cold breakfast. There was and area with advertisements which was unkept. Everything just looked unprofessional. The gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant and quickly got our keys for our room. As we walked down the hallway, there were bags of trash sitting on the floor outside of several rooms, along with used towels. It looked like housekeeping had partially completed their rounds and just stopped. These items where still in the hallway when we were leaving the next morning. The hallway was very warm and did not smell clean. Upon entering our room, initially, it looked ok, but it was soon apparent that it hadn't been deep cleaned in a while. Everything just looked unkept and the room had a musty smell. I decided to take a shower and upon entering the bathroom encountered a rather large cockroach on the wall. I was able to capture it and flush it, but was not happy to see that. It looked as if someone had attempted to do some remodeling in the bathroom, but it just looked shoddy. After ensuring that everything we owned was off the floor, we decided just to go to sleep. I have to say, it was VERY QUIET during the night, but if there are only a couple of rooms being used, it would be. We did not check out any of the amenities, such as the pool, hot tub, or game room, so I can not comment on those. In the morning, the same man was as the front desk and was pleasant at our check out. My daughter and I took a peek at breakfast and basically it was some dry cereal in dispensers, a few items in a mini fridge, and bananas. We took a couple of bananas for the trip to a local restaurant for breakfast. So, to sum up, if you want a place to stay which is fairly inexpensive, close to Hershey, and you aren't concerned about your accommodations, this could work out for you. If you are wanting an updated, clean, hotel and room (that doesn't remind you of a movie where the people go in but never come out) this probably is not where you want to stay. Would my family and I return for another stay? Nope, not again! Sometimes you just get what you pay for and I am willing to pay a little more for a better experience. I hope the owners will be able to improve their establishment so that others can give a better review.

CONDEMNED Booked this place for end of June back in February and on June 10th found out they are closed. Just happen to check their website for directions and got a popup that they are temporarily closed. Upon further investigation found it was condemned by the local authorities. No one called nor email to let us know. Now we have to stay 20 miles away because this stay was for a concert. TRIP ADVISOR NEEDS TO TAKE THIS OFF TRIER PAGE.

Nice staff. Very firm mattress. Close to Giant Center The positives are in the title. The hotel smelled musty when we walked in. Upon check in we were given room keys with a coupon that had our room number written on it no wifi password was provided and I did not notice. We were given directions to the elevator which has a new incorrectly installed floor. The dirt in the corners of the elevator has almost filled the wide gap left by the installers. Elevator smelled musty. Went into the room which also smelled musty. The wall behind the door was patched badly , and the patch was painted a different color than the surrounding wall. I looked around for evidence of bugs and saw no bugs but did see bug waste behind the bed. The fridge had a load random fan noise and had to be unplugged. I did not report it to the front desk too tired to deal with it! The bathroom. Drywall swollen and rotting under the sink from moisture. Tub had a 1/4" gap where it was installed but the wall was not repaired. Upon opening the shower curtain there was hair in the tub. Taking a shower revealed the the tub does not drain properly so you stand in the water as you shower. Tv is direct tv but will not link and did not work at all. We arrived late so we did not complain to the front desk and give them a chance to fix anything ot change rooms. The time to make a room suitable for guests is before they arrive not when they complain. We did look for a different hotel, we were going to leave and go to another but all close by were booked up. Upon check out in the morning we stood at the window being looked at by employees who did nothing until I put the phone on speaker and dailed 0. Would not recommend and will not stay again!

My experience The price wasn't bad and it was close to hershey. Later on the day was going to get ice the bucket had use liner with water still in it. Saw sum stains on the towels. I work in the hotel/motel when rooms got done the supervisor goes and check room to make sure thing were neat and make sure everything was looking good. Don't think they double checked housekeepers rooms. Try to watch TV but it sais no connection. The pool was way way to cold. Won't be booking this place again.

RUN AWAY from this place!!! Better off sleeping in car! RUN Away from this place. You will be disappointed and they will deny every attempt for you to recover your money. We were among several other unrelated guests that pulled in around check in time shocked and in disbelief of the condition of this place. There was no sign in the front of the building yet in all there photos they photoshopped that out. They are still using the branding of Quality Inn even though they are unaffiliated with them, to the extent they still use the Quality Inn carpet as you walk in. They are intentionally deceitful. The receptionist was the most unfriendly impolite person and should not be anywhere near hospitality. We booked through hotels.com but selected pay at hotel. When we arrived we tried to cancel but we’re denied any refund and was told to take it up with hotels.com. The manager continually accused us of trying to take advantage of him. We relented and said we will check out the room and if it doesn’t match the outside we would stay. We got our room and it was beyond disgusting. This place is on par with an hour by hour motel. We attempted to get a refund but we’re told we had to go through hotels.com. And hotels.com tried on our behalf but the manager denied it. I urge the manager to do the right thing and refund our money.
