A quick overnight stay. I called the hotel directly numerous times. They finally answered after two hours! The hotel is aged but clean. We waited 5 minutes to check in because there wasn't anyone at the front desk. It explained why the phone was never answered. I ended up calling the hotel and listened to the phone ringing, then she finally appeared. After 9 hours of travel, we just wanted to check in. The employees were very nice. Our room was clean and comfortable. Dinner at the hotel was excellent.

Dump Hilton had the audacity to charge 770.00 for three nights at this tired, outdated, worn down, dirty property. *no usb ports-anywhere! *3/4 empty convenience store *not allowed to use silverware from the empty dinning room in my room. * filthy grungy carpet throughout Loose carpet tack stabbed through my slippers, twice *musty smell * when I complained that the room rate was not commensurate with the condition of the property, the kid at the desk said “hey, it’s an old property, we just try and keep it clean” and re the usb port, “ your best bet is to go over to Meijer and just buy one”. Never once offered a discount, free night. Nothing. Nada. Zip. I’ve stayed in a goat pen in Ethiopia that was seriously a lot nicer experience. Never again Hilton! You should be ashamed of this money grubbing business practice and I promise none of your execs would dream of staying here and neither will I

Great staff needs an update. I had read the recent reviews of the hotel and they did not look promising. I am a Hilton member and had a discount so I gave it go. Many reviews mentioned a poor smell and run down conditions. What I found was NO smell. Our room and the property is dated but clean and quiet. The staff made up for that with their hospitality. We were greeted at check in by Allen. He was very friendly made us feel welcome and offered to give us recommendations for the area. He also sent us a welcome text to check on our room. The property has a bar that was open till 11 and Christina was lovely and great service. Ran into a housekeeper who was kind and helpful. They don’t offer a free breakfast but have a buffet you can purchase. We did not try the breakfast or the restaurant. The take away food you can get from front desk area was sparse. I did not use the pool but the area was roomy and cared for. Overall the property is due for an update but the staff take pride in their jobs and providing Hilton expected service.
