Great location, nice studio apartment, view of the ocean This is a nice location, on a well maintained beach, and on the Broadwalk with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The police are very present in the area, so it feels safe. Our unit was modern and well maintained, but it had not been cleaned very well when we arrived (dirty dishes and clothes were left from previous tenants). The staff is friendly and corrected the issue quickly, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Update is fantastic, customer service not so much The good! The size of the units are huge and update is wonderful. Tidbit- if you get a one bedroom… you’ll have a super comfy king bed, double nightstands/lamps, bathroom with tub shower, kitchenette w/ table/4chairs, dresser/TV/armoire combo, and a chair/ottoman that folds out into a twin… through the adjoining door is the same table/4chairs, chair/ottoman/hide-a-bed, and dresser/TV/armoire combo, a firm sofa that effortlessly pulls down a pretty comfy Murphy bed, a bathroom with large stand up shower and seat, a full kitchen w/ bar/2stools. We’re talking about a MASSIVE unit! If you order the studio… you get the Murphy bed/full kitchen side. If you order the hotel… you get the king bed/kitchenette side. Good to know when paying your exchange fee! If you plan on cooking every meal, obviously the studio is better. If you like to find the best local food around, definitely go with the hotel. The one bedroom unit is useful if you have 5-6 people with you or want your kids to be completely separate. Otherwise, the king hotel unit is the way to go! We noticed the parking garage and intercoastal views had slightly smaller units though same set ups. You can request an oceanview side even if it means moving units 2 days into your trip… it’s WORTH it. The ocean view is magnificent. Laundry room takes 4 $1 bills only and gives you two tokens, 1 wash/1 dry. The key bands are back and super convenient! The bad: ONE STAR customer service. Samuel, security/parking attendant is the nicest guy ever. Samson in maintance is more than helpful. Otherwise, everyone else should be fired. Notably, housekeeping stole our belongings. We moved from a garage view to an oceanview on day two. An hour later, we realized I left my James Avery necklace on the bathroom counter and a bag of kitchen items in a cupboard. Customer service refused to call housekeeping and said we’re out of luck until the next day. My husband pushed, and we were finally let in to check for our stuff. Gone as expected since the unit had been cleaned but was hopeful that we’d get my necklace from lost/found the next day. Nope. Nothing was turned in which means the cleaners kept our stuff. I saw her again and asked her about my necklace and she pulled the “I don’t speak English” card. My husband pulled out his translator, but she still acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about. Forgetting my necklace was an accident, not turning it is was on purpose, there’s a disappointing difference. Location!!! You’re at the south end of the broadwalk so everything is to your left. Grumpy Gary’s has live music, great food and drinks- drumstick only wings and pulled pork mac and cheese are the best we’ve ever had. The Puruvian place down the way is excellent. Billy’s Stone Crab cooks your fresh catch and is excellent. The best place in Hollywood, though, is that Taco Beach Shack about a block off the broadwalk. Don’t miss out on that place!!!

My room was double booked and I walked in on a sleeping couple! Overall poor and lackluster experience. I arrived late at night and let the staff know I would coming in around 1am. When I got my room key I headed up and went into what I thought was my room, but only to find this room was double booked and stumbled in on a sleeping couple who proceeded to scream at me (Can’t blame them!) The desk concierge was unapologetic and put me in a new room, but for some reason couldn’t give me a room key... This room was also debatably ready, as there was no toilet paper and it wasn’t clean... but this was my only option for the night. In the morning I headed down and they let me know that neither of those rooms were my room ( ? even though the first room # was on all my paperwork) and moved me yet again. This entire experience was traumatizing and exhausting. They did let me know they’d adjust my bill for the inconvenience, but upon checkout the charges added up to exactly what I originally paid, and were not adjusted. There were a number of things I didn’t love about this hotel but this experience really takes the cake. I wish someone would’ve been even slightly empathetic to this disaster of a situation.
